The Antichrist? Really? Come on...

Recently Ahura Z. received a rant on his page at AllExperts.com from someone claiming that Barack Obama is the Antichrist. I will refrain from printing the entire diatribe here (as it went on for pages and pages!) but here are some highlights, and his response below. Enjoy.

"Barack Obama and antichrist seem to flow well together. He posseses many of the characteristics depicted in the book of Relevations. He has middle-eastern descent, his name, "Barack", means "blessed", in HEBREW he is cunning, and is a powerful speaker."

"Nostradamus prophesized the name of the antichrist is "Mabus." This can relate to why Obama is the antichrist. If you write obama+bush, you end up with obamabush. Do you spot "mabus" in the middle? Bingo. This is a strong indication that Obama will succeed Bush as president in 2008, further confirming the prohpecy."

"Discussion about Barak Obama is the anti-christ and i have the proof! The christians get this hate towards Obama for some reason. One guy was at his meetings and he shook his hand an then he got a quick vision of his true nature which he said he saw the devil."

"If a black man named Barak Hussein Obama can gain the presidency of usa.inc, he may well be the antichrist!"

"Right now Obama's charisma (like hitler had not saying he's like hitler just saying they both speak/spoke very well) and the fact he's practically risen out of nowhere (like Napoleon Bonaparte who also united much of the "world" at that time) seam to fit the anticrist description."

"Many people have fallen for Obama's "change" and "hope" rhetoric, especially the young and idealistic. He's totally the antichrist."

"I mean just look in his eyes you can see evil. And just look he is proof of the spirit of antichrist that is a fact!I mean he is actually the antichrist CASE CLOSED! He fits the bill. Obama is the literal Anti-Christ from Revelations."

"Know how to recognize the beast and not be swayed into believing that someone is the AntiChrist who doesn't match the biblical characteristics. Oh and the Pope agrees that Obama fits all of this. Accepting Jesus Christ in my life has been a powerful guide."

"I heard that he Obama did coke a few times.Jesus the christ didnt"

"I thought about him Obama being the devil. Then I was like OMG, what if heâs the antichrist? So I immediately Googled âBarack Obama Antichrist. AN so many of these articles showed up saying he was!"

"About a month ago I was at work in my parish and I was thinking about who Antichrist could be and suddenly Barack Obama came to mind. Heâs a great candidateâno one really knows what he believes (his views are even more obscure than John Kerryâsâif that were possible!)"

"THE QUESTION BUZZING THE NET IS; IS BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA THE ANTICHRIST?"

"THE ANSWER IS YES!"

"THE ANTICHRIST WALKS AMONGST US AS A BLACK/WHITE MAN"

Yeah, anyway... Here's Ahura Z's response:

Wow! Never in all my time as a human being have I heard such a judgement spewing of sinful distortion of that which has been written as the Gospel of God, and Christ.

It is obvious that the reason that you protest Mr. Obama, and label him the anti Christ is because of your purely racist view, covered by a blanket of faux Christianity.

Do you not know that your very words, and sentiments are anti Christ?

Or is not the right thing to do as a Christian, to follow that which is handed down as the word of God.

In case you have forgotten, it is not the right of you, me, or anyone else to label, or judge someone anti Christ, especially if they have not denounced Christ. As I have heard it, Mr. Obama has openly said that he is a Christian, although his religion really shouldn't be the issue in government, or did we also forget that Jesus had no place in government, and didn't agree with government.

As I see it. You, and everyone that follows your way of thinking have just condemned anyone that is left handed, black, Charismatic, male, has the letter "O" in their name, smiles, doesn't know that they are the anti Christ, is NOT republican, is anything other than, evangelical,is not white, or male, doesn't read the new invented version, or NIV, version of the bible, (as if God would re write his words to fit any agenda).

You also said that you don't want a president that is an atheist but what was Clinton, Reagan, Ford, Carter, Bush Sr., etc. I say that they have all claimed to be Christian, but did we see Christian values? Did you not know that killing, and war is NOT of God?

Oh! by the way, I'm left handed, part African American, Irish Apache, and Maori, I am very intelligent, and have been called Charismatic. I have one desire, and that is to be just like Jesus, and someday be a voice of God. My Birthday is March 18, 1960, 18 is three times 6, or, 666, March being the 3rd month, and born in the 60th year..

I am very good with numbers, and correlation, and before you condemn me also as the Anti Christ, I would caution you that the very initials of your bible, the NIV bible, also equates to 18, or
6 6 6. However. Obama equates to 5. Sorry.

Oh! Did you know that this country was not founded on religious oppression, but religious freedom? Therefore Mr. Obama has the right to pray to whom ever he wishes to, and it is not my business.

Now, that I have hopefully set you straight on how I feel about whether Mr. Obama is a Muslim, or not, let me say this.

Jesus was NOT white, or republican, or judgement, nor was he a Christian.

Jesus's hair was like sheeps wool.

Jesus was Middle Eastern.

Jesus was left handed.

Jesus was a JEW...

Jesus was NOT American.

Jesus was brown skinned.

Jesus was not a patriot.

Jesus loved EVERYONE..

Jesus feared NO ONE...

Jesus was very charismatic, and did not care for what was Caesar.

Jesus was concerned with what is, Jehovah's, Yaweh's, Elohim's Addonai's, Al Shaddai's, and yes, Allah's.

You see. They ALL MEAN THE SAME THING!!!

Whether you call him Allah, or Jehovah, you are speaking of the one that is, was, and will ALWAYS be, and you that think that you will get away with distorting the Gospel of Christ in order to terrorize people with your hatred, then you are NO better than any terrorist that threatens this country, for I say that it is YOU. YOU! that spread hatred, racism, and FEAR, in the name of a god whose name you don't even KNOW, and whose words you, yourself refuse to follow that are the very things that go against what this country stands for.

Re read your Bible, and since you are so good with quotations, read Mathew 3, in its entirety, and see if what you are doing is right.

And finally. I find it interesting that you speak of false prophets, and yet use as your argument, Nostradamus' wittings, which would even in the farthest stretches of the imagination, mean that George bush would have to succeed Mr. Obama. (MA BUS).

Jesus Camp is wrong. I AM Christian, in the true sense of the word,
and if Mr. Obama is the anti Christ, then so are we ALL...

You are a Christian, stay out of government, and stay in Christ...

Peace. Ahura Z.

Our latest "Ass-Bus" Award goes to Vince Mattingly of the UK who found out 26 years later that the tattoo on his chest of his name in Chinese actually spelled "Coca Cola"!

Here's a reprint of the article from the Sun (below we have included a link to the original article which also has photographs):

PROUD Vince Mattingley showed off his Chinese writing tattoo spelling his name for 26 years â until someone pointed out if actually spelt COCA-COLA.

Vince, 44, had the body art done after asking staff at his favourite Oriental restaurant to write his name in Chinese symbols.

But a cheeky waiter drew the Coke words â and Vince had it etched on his chest.

Vince â who now works as a tattoo artist â never had an INK-ling he was a walking advert for more than a quarter of a century.

It was only when he travelled to Thailand this year that a barman asked him why he had Coca-Cola written on his chest.

Vince, of Watford, said: âI thought it was a joke then I found out thatâs what it said. The restaurant staff must have had a good laugh about it.â?

He is now getting another Oriental tattoo to cover up the name of his favourite soft drink, left. He added: âIâm going to go with something Japanese this time.â?

Introduction to the 5 Senses

Introduction to the 5 Senses

Now that we have been introduced to the minds and bodies, it is time to be re-introduced to the senses. As we all know most people have five: hearing, seeing. smelling, tasting, and touching. These are merely sensory abilities, nervous impulses dictated by electro-magnetic flashes that translate a signal to and from our brains. In other words, these senses are standard equipment that comes with the vehicle we call the human body, in truth they are nothing more.

Touch

Often in our driven pursuit of power are we deceived, not only by our ambitions, but the very thing that we invest so much energy and time into. For instance, one might be offended by the words or actions of another, based upon what was observed with one or more of our sensory input devices, "the senses". That same person will then approach the latter and say that person hurt his/her feelings. This is incorrect. The only sensory device that might qualify to "hurt" the feelings of another would be, if it were possible, the sense of touch. However "touching" and "feeling" are two different actions. To touch is merely to make contact with another physical entity or object, and the resulting physical sensation therein. There must always be a physical contact involved in touching. Always.

Now that we have identified touching, let us identify the next culprit in our devised deception. To say that someone "hurt your feelings", is again incorrect because that which we have incorrectly called hurt "feelings" is based upon the non-physical contact, action or words of another individual. This particular deception is often mistaken for feelings. It is called the "emotion". Emotion is an instinctual combination of observation and sensation that is always, always, always based on that which happens outside of ourselves (what someone did, what they didn't do, what they said or did not say) and always involves another.

Feelings, on the other hand, have nothing to do with what another did or did not do to, with, against, or for you, as they are an expression of the soul and spirit borne of a compelling that may or may not happen at any given moment, and does not need physical stimulus in order to happen.

Smell

Now, all that being said, let us move on to another of the senses that is probably the most important, yet the most taken for granted of all, the olfactory sense, or sense of smell. This particular sense is actually the most influential of all. It and it alone can pervade the world of your vision, taste, hearing, and touch, and in many cases, is the deciding factor when it comes to whether you like something or not. This sense has been known to invoke emotion and even memories both short and long term.

An example of how the olfactory sense works would be to pick a scent that is reminiscent of your mother or other loved-one. Curiously you will not only smell the scent, but you will see the image of the person who wore the scent, and in some cases hear them speaking to you.

For those who are students of the metaphysical this is a required experiment, as the olfactory sense, because of its magnificent pervasiveness, can be the key agent in breaking detrimental habits such as smoking, drinking, and drug use, hence the amazingly resplendent interest in the art known to many as âaromatherapyâ? (which is probably more accurately termed âaroma-theismâ?, but who are we to quibble?).

All in all, the olfactory sense gets the thumbs up in the most powerful sense group, and, as we can deduce from its described properties, often instrumental in in psychic development.

Cultivated, this sense would be used in what is called âsmell-seeingâ?, often associated with psychic police work (the art of âsniffing outâ? negative vibrations and expelling them).

Taste

Our next stop will be in the zone of the sense of âtasteâ?. This particular sense has its hooks in our ability to discriminate and discern.

How, you ask?

Well if we take into consideration the fact that we are creatures of habit, we will see that our habitual patterns are first based on instinct, beginning with our instinct to eat, and that instinct is colored with the assistance of the aforementioned olfactory sense, what tastes âgoodâ?, or âbadâ? to us.

Even as children we decide that if it tastes good to us we will eat it and if it doesnât there is no way that we will eat it, even at the risk of not getting--yes thatâs right--desert, which almost always tastes good (except in those cases that your grandmother thinks itâs a good idea to put a huge dollop of mayonnaise on jello! Yuck!). But even then it comes down to that wonderful senseâTaste.

As we grow into adulthood and (hopefully) mature, we develop these areas of "good" and "bad" to include what we call right and wrong, and base the majority of our judgment on these factors. We connect that which is "good" to what is right and, likewise, what is "bad" to wrong, and in many cases are right on point. That is, if the society you live in has also decided that what you think is right and wrong, is good and bad as well. However, if not, then you are more than likely going to be put into a position where you have to either a.) try to convince someone that if they want desert then they will have to eat their peas, or b.) be convinced that jello with mayonnaise is a âgoodâ? thing. Either way you are STILL the child sitting in the instinctual chair of âtasteâ?.

Now, the physical sense of âtasteâ? is located in the tongue (or so we are led to believe). And I will, for the sake of good ink and paper, forego the tedious, outdated third-grade explanation of how the little taste buds do their job (even though without the olfactory sense they could not do justice), and let it suffice to say that the sense of âtasteâ? enables us has human beings to define, not only our character, but our identification, and it is therefore powerful and essential to life as we know it.

Hearing

The sense of âhearingâ? is pretty self explanatory. We hear everything, in one way or another, based upon vibrational frequency and rate, combined with surface contact.

These vibrational frequencies, which are the actual movement of energy, and the shape or speed thereof, are what constitutes tone. It is our ability to register this vibrational interaction that we call âhearingâ?. What this means is that hearing doesnât only have to do with the ears, but with the entire body, even the skin.

Those who have ever had trouble hearing in their lives, as I have, can agree

that if, in fact, the ears are malfunctioning, something else occurs to enable you to âregisterâ? the surrounding vibrations. It is as if the very air around you concentrates to form an âethereal ear in order for you to know whatâs happening.

The person that is labeled âdeafâ? is indeed mislabeled, for they are not deaf but merely hear things in a different way than what we as a society have deemed normal, and in many cases âhearâ? better than any of us with ânormalâ? hearing.

Our ability to hear is, in truth and fact, the sense that we use in order to understand and comprehend. And in many ways, alongside with the sense of sight (which we will address later), helps us to identify who, what and where, and is key in our ability to communicate.

Sight

On our magnificent journey through the world of the senses we make our last stop at the all-powerful sense of âsightâ?.

Isnât it amazing that I would use that particular phrase to introduce sight. âALL POWERFUL (ful, ful, ful...)".

You might think that Iâm just joking, but indeed I am not, as whole societies have been born, destroyed, defined, deified, enslaved, chosen, not chosen, liked, disliked, strengthened, weakened, and empowered based upon what we look like.

Now isnât that just ducky?

I mean, arenât we just the most wonderful species ever? We have actually given the most power to the sense that, indeed, has the least amount of validity of them all!

Think about it; our eyes tell us whoâs pretty, ugly, fat, skinny, tall, short, black

(even though no one is), white (again, no one is), and even go so far as to say whoâs good or bad based upon the way that they look. Which proves again a theory that one can indeed look with the eyes, but eyes are not required to âseeâ?, as I am again compelled to assert based on my acquaintance with those that have been, again, mislabeled âblindâ? who, in many ways, "see" better than most of us!

On the other hand the eyes are a most wonderful attribute of the human body

They allow us to identify, perceive, and observe. They show us what things âlookâ? like and enable us to describe to others what something looks like. They enable us to perceive trees, the ocean, stars, birds and mountains. They allow us to perceive even each other and are indeed extremely helpful in our physical lives.

Magically and spiritually they are just the opposite, for we have a tendency to base our belief system on what things look like and not what they truly are. It is this folly that causes us to think that "looking" and "seeing" are the same. This is unfortunate as nothing could be further from the truth. Just because something looks a certain way doesnât make it so. But if we limit the sense of sight to the eyes, we are doomed to mistake the illusion of what something looks like for the reality of what can truly be called sight.

All in all the sense of sight can be a powerful tool, but is definitely NOT limited to the eyesâ

Asian Woman, White Man's World

Asian Woman, White Manâs Worldâ

~ A Rant by Nirakazi

The other day I walked into a Burger King wearing my jacket. A Caucasian guy was standing in line, when he saw me come in. He kept staring at me, so I stared back and sneered âWhat?â? Well, this guy, (who weâll call Chad,) took this as an invitation to come towards me saying â I like your jacket. Want to know something interesting about it?â? Disgusted, I told him âNo, does it look like I want to talk to you? Like you could honestly tell me something interesting about my jacket?â? Needless to say, he backed off and was utterly shut down.

Now for those of you that do not know, I am a Chinese-American woman, and I have ABSOLUTELY had it with âWhite men and Asian women fantasies.â? No, in fact, itâs not just White men, (though around where I live it is predominantly Caucasian men) itâs the Asian women fantasies that I have a huge beef withâThis thought is disgusting, and I have had enough of it. This thought is everywhere, and itâs becoming even more prevalent in the movies that are being made, you know, the âLetâs pair up an Asian woman with a Caucasian manâ? plot.

For example, just the other day I watched Balls of Fury. Here is a classic example of this thought: Actor Dan Fogler, was portraying Randy Daytona, an ex-champion ping-pong player who goes to retrain with a Chinese ping-pong master. The masterâs niece, Maggie, (played by actress Maggie Q, ) is reportedly the daughter of a renown Chinese ping-pong champion. Her ping-pong skill is far more superior than that of Randyâs. At the very beginning of the movie, she is utterly repulsed by Randy. Yet somehow, at the very end, she falls in love with this fat, grotesque, ugly and dumb buffoon, who plays the hero in the end of the movie. PLUS letâs not forget the other part of White male glorification: The part where Randy is chosen (and defeats) the big black man at the beginning of the contest, (you know, because that IS what Hollywood loves to do in movies, isnât it? Kill a black person, and think itâs OK because white men are sooo strong?) Or the part where he defeats the feared Dragon of ping-pong in Chinatown. Wait, this is the problem with this picture: Thereâs Randy, who is fat, ugly, stupid, and has been out of practice for many years, and totally sucks at ping-pong now. Then thereâs Maggie, who is beautiful, a really good player, and smart. Hrm.. Letâs see, pick the Caucasian male whoâs bound to loose, but like in most of the movies these days, heâs âThe ONEâ. Or pick the Asian woman who can hold her own? Oh I know, letâs pick the fat White guy to beat the Dragon.. YEAH because HIS kung-fu is better than hers because, Ohhh yyyeah . Heâs the white guy, and everybody knows that the white guy knows more about Kung Fu than a mere Chinese person..

âPlease, give me a breakâ

So, in case you donât know by now what âthoughtâ? I am talking about, let me enlighten youâ

The thought that Chad, Brad or whoever, has in regards to Asian women is that they really believe that we are quiet, and submissive. That we can be easily won with a few winks from some weak ass guy that thinks wearing girlsâ pants is cool because heâs âEMOâ?, or some UGLY, FAT, retarded guy like Jack Black or Owen Wilson because they are Caucasian, and think you have the right to think that we can be controlled. Oh, AND not to mention that our âtightâ? little bodies make us the perfect âtoys/pets.â? Enough is enough. Here, let me break yâalls bubble, Chadâ

Most Asian women are attracted to Black men. (Oops)

So to all you Jack Blacks, Chads, Todds, Mikes, Justins, Dans, Joshes, Matts, and whoever has this sick and twisted thought: I AM NOT YOUR ASIAN FANTASY. OR AS BRUCE WILLIS PUT IT â ASIAN HOOKER NINJA BITCH.â? I AM NOT YOUR ASIAN MAIL-ORDER BRIDE, NOR AM I SUBMISSIVE, NOR WILL I EVER BE. I WILL NEVER BE YOUR ASIAN TOY, NOR AM I A WEAK WILLED WOMAN WHO WILL EVER NEED YOUR HELP. So back off, leave me alone. Keep your nasty a$$ thoughts to your self. You people make me sick. IF you feel the need to control something, or you are in dire need to have some sex toy, go to your local Sex Shop.

You tried this with Black women, and it didnât work. Did you think it will be different this time? Oh. I Seee, so THATâs why you are all going over to China, and adopting the little girls.. (donât even get me started on that.)

And one more thing, to Chad at Burger King: Like I donât know what the symbols of my jacket represent? What, like I donât know about my own culture? Oh wait, itâs because youâre white and you think that you know it all, and that I donât have a damn clue about my heritage? Stupid a$$.. youâre the one who has to steal stuff from other peopleâs culture and claim to âdiscoverâ? itâ

Ask The Unicorn podcast

Transcript of podcast

Hello and welcome to Ask The Unicorn, a podcast for people seeking answers to questions about the paranormal, metaphysical, and spiritual world from paranormal expert and teacher of metaphysics Ahura Z. Diliiza. Ahura Z. is founder and headmaster of Unicorn Cove School Metaphysics in Westbrook, ME. Ahura Z. is a telepath, metaphysician, and psychic policeman specializing in psychic self defense.

In addition to school, Ahura Z. also heads up the Unicorn Rangers Psychic Police Department where he trains a team to assist him in paranormal investigations, curse removals, exorcisms and more. You are listening to ask the unicorn on unicovia.org. And now Ahura Z...

Good evening and thank you. One of the questions I will be answering this evening is: what is the difference between a psychic and a telepath?

The difference is minute really with a few exceptions one of them being that because this whole planet is psychic, a psychic has to operate within certain parameters that are dictated by this planet and this planet alone. A telepath can also operate outside of the energy level of this planet. Now I realize that sounds rather sci-fi, but the truth is, is that I donât need your energy to do what I do nor do I need the energy of a person, place or thing anywhere in order to use my gift. My gift is not necessarily land based, itâs not air based, or even earth based, if I had to say anything it would be more divine based.

Now the closest term I can come to describe that gift is telepathy. Because I can receive messages from the past, from beyond, from now. And these are messages that I donât question, I am very certain about them. Unfortunately, with the majority of psychics they have to kind of poke around until they get an accurate reading. Now that is not to say there are no accurate psychics, because I know a few that are exceptional and I know a few that are superior to just about any other psychic form that I have experienced in my life. However I can say this, psychism is something that every human being on the face of this earth has, itâs just a question of whether you choose to develop itâsome are given more, some are given less. Now, psychism does at some point in time, depending upon the effort, focus and concentration of the person elevate into a level of telepath. And even then, you still have to focus. So, the difference between a psychic and telepath is the probably the difference between lions and tigers.

The next question is: can a person really contact spirits using a Ouija Board? If I think my house may be haunted will using a Ouija Board help me to talk with the spirits?

Well the truth is they will help you talk to the spirits. And someone who developed the Ouija Board knew that. It came off as being just a game. But the truth was that it was developed by the dark side of energy. And it was developed by the dark side of energy to release those entities trapped in the astral plane for violating a principle of life.

Now, someone knew that it took a physical being in order to release a non-physical being from that particular placeâthere had to be an exchange. Now a Universal principle says that for everything that is given there must be an exchange. And if you are not the one that voices what the exchange will be or you donât know what the exchange should be, the Universe itself based upon that particular principle will decide for you.

Now letâs take into consideration that you are dealing with an astral being, a being that you really donât see, unless you are a telepath or have some level of psychism. That entity can take whatever shape it thinks that you want to see, even a relative. Why? Because you may not be able to read their minds, but they can read yours. Again, why? Because they are not limited to a physical form nor are they limited to physical principlesâthey are astral beings. This particular board enables you to speak with them and in some cases, form alliances or agreements with them. Which is why every person that has ever used a Ouija Board at length, has suffered some kind of trauma in their life. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to remove entities from a home, I have had to detach an entity from someone, or I have had to help them get rid of the neurosis that they have suffered because they decided to use a Ouija Board thinking that is was just a harmless game developed by Parker Brothers.

So, the truth is, yes you can contact spirits using a Ouija Board. But I guarantee you that 99.9% of the spirits that you contact, you donât want to. So, here are my suggestions when you decide to use a Ouija Boardâdonât. Run away. And if any of your friends decide they want to coerce you into using a Ouija Board, they are not your friends and you need to stand up and be vehement about your non-use of that particular product. It is just not good for you. I had to remove an entity from a young lady who got thrown across the room because she decided that it was cool to use a Ouija Board. She also suffered sickness, she didnât feel well, she didnât look well. And I removed that entity from her and gave her instructions: look, the next time you even see a picture of a Ouija Board, you need to run in the other direction.

So, listen to me, if you think your houses was haunted before, you use a Ouija Board, your house will be three times as haunted. Oh, and for those people that believe that using an Angel Board or a board that is called something other than a Ouija Board will not bring you the same results, you are merely kidding yourself. And I donât care how airy-fairy you decide you want to be. Listen to me, a rose by any other name is still a rose, and I can say the exact same thing for an Ouija Board.

The next question I will be answering: what are animal totems? How can I find out what my animal totem is? And how do I communicate with it?

Well the first thing that you need to do is get rid of the term âitâ?. The animal totem is actually part of you. It is part of your own spirit, your own characteristic. You may emulate that either in your physical characteristics, or even your mentality, sometimes in your energy. For instance, there are people that I know that look every bit of the frog, or there are people that I know that look every bit of a horse, yet their nature may be that of an eagle. And there those that look like an eagle or look like a lion, and are more like a skunk. I know that that sounds kind of humorous, but the truth is that thereâs no way to understand the full breadth of what an animal totem is. I can say this however that in my family, which is part native, that we always use the animal totems in order to bring about positive change in our life, to help us to make it through certain parts of lives that were perhaps traumatic or maybe there was a certain strength that was needed in order to get through that particular experience and maybe we needed the strength of a lion or maybe we needed the strength of a bear or maybe that was what was emulated in our own energy, our own personal energy and that became part of our totem, or our chi so to speak.

Now youâll have to bear with me a bit as I am multicultural so youâll hear me flip back between Native, Maori, African American, and youâll also hear me go even Scottish. So you just kind of have to bear with me when it comes to this particular explanation. An animal totem is more like that part of yourself that is totally in harmony with nature and it shows itself to you in order for you to heighten yourself or in order for you to strengthen yourself. Or perhaps you need the highs of an eagle in your awareness; perhaps you need that strength that will power you through whatever it is you are going through. Just to simplify, perhaps you should develop a ceremony that will help you to get in touch with that. Look at what you look like in the mirror. And I understand that can sound a little bit insulting, but that is not how it is meant. You will actually see certain characteristics of an animal spirit in your makeup or in your face. For instance if you look at me, youâll see a lion. Iâm basically the same coloration as a lion, if you look at my face thatâs what you will see. That doesnât mean that I go around growling at people all the time (although my daughter might disagree with you). But it does say that there is a certain strength that I need to emulate in order to make it through certain parts of my life.

Now, that being said, there are certain things that you can do to contact your own totem. One of the things you can do is light a candle, sit quietly, and just listen. Donât try to shut anything out. Accept everything. Donât try to block any thoughts out; donât try to block any impressions out. Take everything that you are feeling, everything that you are seeing, from all of your surroundings and blend them into one. And then ask yourself one simple question: what is my totem? Now the first impression that comes to you is more than likely your totem. You canât be impressed, or disappointed, at what it is you see. Because I can promise you this, whether your totem is a lion or whether you totem is a butterfly or whether itâs a spider, it all means something and itâs all for your benefit. The communication with that totem comes later. First, build a relationship, and then perhaps it will choose to communicate with you. All in all, all youâre really doing is communicating with parts of yourself and thatâs the chief thing to remember. You are not trying to communicate with something that is separate from you. You are merely bringing together those parts of yourself and integrating them into your life on a practical, spiritual level.

Ok, the last question that I will be answering this evening is: what do you think of hypnosis? Can it really help someone change or stop a bad habit?

Yes, yes it can. It can indeed. The problem I have with hypnosis is that it asks you to give up control on a conscious level, not only on a conscious level but on a subconscious level. Now, as science may not know--conventional science that is--but metaphysical science does know, is that there are five basic minds: one is the conscious mind, one is the subconscious mind, one is the sub subconscious mind, one is the sub supra conscious mind, and one is the super conscious mind.

Now, your conscious mind is your brain, it is that which is built for rote memorization and repetition. Itâs what you operate in every single day on an instinctual level. You need that particular part of your mind, that particular conscious mind, in order to run your conscious body; physical body, physical mindâthe brain. Your subconscious is actually the higher learning center of the physical brainâor the physical mindâit is that which tells you what something actually is or describes something or perceives something or helps you to understand what is going on within you and around you. It is that which helps you to relate to your environment and your environs. The third, which is actually the sub subconscious, is that which we want to focus on. The sub subconscious is like a giant translator. It translates energy into what we understand to be color, light, dark, sound, taste, touch, or anything that can be perceived. It takes energy which has one formâor maybe even two formsâand then it shapes it in our minds so that we are able to understand it, so that we are able to digest it or assimilate it, so to speak. It is also this particular mind that enables us to move out of the way of a speeding car that we didnât even know was coming. It is also this mind that hypnosis tampers with.

Now, taking into consideration that the sub subconscious is that which helps us to distinguish between that which is real and that which is unreal; it helps us to keep certain dimensions of our life separate. The problem with hypnosis is that it blurs those lines and sometimes can create leaks because a hypnotist may know how to open up that particular part of the consciousness, but a hypnotist does not understand what it takes to close that once those floodgates have been opened. Now, I would caution anyone, and I am sure that there are people out there that will say, âWell, I used a hypnotist and it helped me to quite smokingâ? or âit helped me to stop eatingâ?. But I guarantee that if you looked hard enough in yourself you would have found the strength and willpower to do that by yourself. Even if it meant that you gave yourself commands, audible and inaudible, and you reinforced those commands on a daily basis. The problem is that most of us are too lazy or we look for an excuse to give someone else control over our lives.

I would caution anyone, before considering hypnosis, try every single way possibleâdo something, do something to break your own habit. Put up sticky tape if you have to, maybe run around and chant that âI will not smokeâ?, âI will not eat too muchâ?, âI will exercise on a daily basisâ?, âI will break the habit that has been limiting me all my lifeâ?, âI refuse to go backwardsâ?, do something, before you hand over the reigns to someone that only knows how to open up your head and not know how to close it back. I donât care how good a hypnotist that they actually areâand there are some pretty good ones out there, I know, Iâve seen television just like everyone elseâI have never in my life subjected myself to be hypnotized by anyone nor would I ever under any circumstances, nor would I suggest to anyone else to do so. There are other methods and I would suggest to anyone, strongly, that a hypnotist may be able to break a habit in you, but look at the habits that the hypnotist has, first, because most of them are seldom able to fix their own lives.

I think another question that I will do just because it was put across my desk is: what do I think of skeptics, those people that are skeptical of the paranormal and the mystical?

If I really spent too much time thinking of you people, it would mean that I was seeking your approval, and since I am not, I merely say this: a person who cannot see the color blue, really has no right to try to describe what the color blue is; and to form a skeptic society against the color blue or the existence of the color blue, merely shows that you have made a conscious choice to remain ignorant; and no matter how many people you gather around you to help you feel good about yourself, you still cannot see the color blue and have no right to try to describe what it is or what it is not.

Rant of the Mystic

O. K. So its been awhile since my last rant. SORRRYYY! But hopefully this one make up for it.

Ya know for years I have watched programs like the ghost plumbers, most phony, psychic defective, and the History channel,(a.k.a. the religious channel) give their take on things such as Psychic ability, telepathy, and paranormal investigation.

They very insultingly present to you, the public an extremely uninformed, and airy fairy view of what people like me see, do and believe, without ever asking, or truly even wanting to know, yet sounding as if they are the authority.

Often you will see an old dinosaur-like crony such as James Randi, who sits like an old dust plagued gargoyle clutching onto a briefcase which promises the reward of 1 million dollars to the person that can prove to HIM that psychic ability does exist. Hmmmmmm. To him right. Which means that HE is the one that will decide on the perimeters. That HE, the person that believes that just because he has money, that makes him important, or viable, is the one that can say what Psychic is, even though he possesses no psychic ability, (rememberâ.He doesnât believe in psychic ability, and therefore would not know WHAT IT IS!!!)

O.K. THATâS IT!!! ENOUGH TRYING TO SOUND CIVIL You OLD AS METHUSELAH, DUST FARTING, WOULDNâT KNOW A PSYCHIC ABILITY IF IT WERE STARING YOU DEAD IN THE FACE, LAME ASS, I DONâT HAVE ANYTHING REAL TO LIVE FOR IN MY LIFE SO LET ME SCREW UP OTHER PEOPLES LIFE BY PLAYING THE OOOOHHHH LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME, IM A SKEPTIC WITH A MILLION DOLLARS, SO I THINK THAT THAT GIVES ME THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT SOMETHING DOESNâT EXIST BECAUSE I DONâT HAVE IT, SO LET ME THINK OF STUPID LITTLE TESTS THAT I, AND MY OTHER DEMONIC CRONIES HAVE DREAMED UP LIKE SEEING IF THEY CAN DETECT AN AURA THROUGH A DOOR,( NOT HAVING THE SCIENTIFIC FORESIGHT TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE DOOR WOULD HAVE THE VIBRATIONAL FREQUENCY. OR AURA IF YOU WILL OF THE LAST PERSON THAT CAME INTO CONTACT WITH IT) AND OOH LETS DROP A COTTON BALL BEHIND A WALL AND SEE IF THEY CAN CATCH IT, (AGAIN NOT TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THAT IF THE PERSON DROPPING THE COTTON BALL HAS EVEN THE SLIGHTEST THOUGHT OF DROPPING IT BEFORE IT IS DROPPED THE PSYCHIC WILL READ IT AS BEING DROPPED)

(ENRGY PRECEEDS MATTER YOU IDIOT) SWAMP DONKEY THAT SHOULDâVE BEEN TAKEN ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER DINOSAURS WHEN THAT DAMN COMET CAME BY, POMPOUS BITCH OF AN EXCUSE FOR A MANâ.(whoa! Mega rant!)

Its people like Mr. Randi, and others such as the so called New England Skeptic society, (what a stupid name)â That are single handedly responsible for the rampant plague that has subjugated American intelligence, and vision, that is called Mediocrityâ..

I mean think about it just for a second. How can someone that cannot see the color blue,

Possibly think that they have the right to dictate what the color blue is.

Mr. Steven Novella, who is a neurologist, at Yale, I guess his mommy, and daddy didnât have enough money to get him into Harvard, (ooops did I type that out loud, my bad)

Then there are people like ghost hunters that are only capable of hunting a leaky pipe giving the public the wrong idea of what paranormal investigation IS. First off. Ghosts donât just come out at night, or in the dark.

Unless your camera has the capability of capturing every spectrum, and vibration that the human eye and mind can catch, you will only get an impression of energy, or an electromagnetic concentration of energy that could easily be explained by how powerful the last lightning storm was, and whether or not there was someone physical there during it. (God I hate it when someone thinks that money, and ignorance is a good replacement for intelligence, and talent).. Oh! You mean that a TAPS wouldnât know that a those little electromagnetic detection devices would also detect the slightest electrical variance, even a change in the grip of the person holding it? Or that you cannot think possibly that you will be able to capture something that is unconventional using conventional means?

Oh how silly of me to think that a REAL paranormal investigator knows better than to rely on technology, when dealing with the FREAKIN SPIRIT WORLD!!!.. I mean after all, Iâve only been doing this for, I donât know 19 years? But go ahead, and ask the professional opinion of a glorified foot doctor on paranormal investigation just because he has in caption Dr. Meanwhile I and people like me that are truly gifted, and actually have the ability to see, and investigate, without running because its dark and something moved.(reference ghost huntersâ.every episodeâ.)

(((on a side note. Did it ever occur to stupid people like them that they are trying to out run a spirit? You know something that can be anywhere, at anytime? So if it were a-- aw never mind)))

Will continue to do the extraordinary work that we were given the ability to do, in the service to the Universe, and people that just want to truly understand what they are seeing, if in fact they are seeing anythingâ..

Those of us that do not need with high tech, light detecting, spectomographicalectocrapaphonic video cameras, and little hand held tape recorders, and emg detectors out into the darkest part of the night to see if they can actually catch a real âliveâ? ghost floating about, and then have the NERVE to tell people, âdonât try this at home, as we are professionals. Professional whatâ PLUMBERS????.

We find you insulting, so allow me to tell you to your faces as if you would ever be interested in hearing the truth, or someone telling you in this wayâ.Ahemâ

I understand that conventional science, and technology has its place, and I applaud those advancements that science has finally made, such asâ.The earth is NOT flat..

Donât fly a kite in the rain, and oh yesâ. You could be the victim of the law of gravity if you fall asleep under an apple tree that is ready to be harvested. But truthfully none of you know how hot the sun is, because humanity has absolutely NOTHING that can get close enough to it to tell.

You donât know whether or not Jupiter can sustain life, because again.. NONE of you can get there., or would have the guts to go there to irrefutably prove your theory.

( I would)

You. The scientists, and medical doctors, and plumbers have a decided expertise in the physical mundane world. You have the money, because your daddy supplied for your fallacy, therefore you believe that a school system that purposefully discouragers the extraordinary, and supports only the status quo gives you the right to dismiss that which you have not the intelligence or vision to understand, so let me formally give you notice.

You do notâ

You expertise lies in the halls of mediocrity, in which you will never find my footsteps, or trace, as I respect your ability to point out the obviousâ

I ask that you, that cannot see, that have no psychic ability, that cannot see without a spektowhatevermaphone. To not try to define that which is beyond ordinary, and perhaps be interested in real talent, and abilityâ

. My name is Ahura Z. Diliiza, and I am a real paranormal investigatorâ..Peace.

There have I made up for my absence?

This is an article and accompanying sideline that was printed on the front page of the Lakes Region Weekly on October 26, 2007. At the bottom, we have included supplemental video clips from our own footage of the investigation.

Meet a real paranormal investigator
by Michael Hartwell

While most people associate ghosts and spirits with the month of October, people like 47-year-old Ahura Z. Diliiza of Westbrook say they see them year-round.

What you call unusual is usual to us." said Diliiza, the chief commissioner of the Unicorn Rangers Psychic Police, a private group based out of Westbrook.

"My job is to determine if a paranormal event is taking place, or maybe someone just drank too much cough syrup." said Diliiza. He stands out as a powerfully-built dark-skinned guru with blonde, braided hair that always seems to drape itself across his shoulder as if by magic.

With almost two decades of metaphysical experience under his belt, Diliiza is also the owner of the Unicorn Cove new age supply store on Main Street in Westbrook. They sell supplies and services for a wide range of subjects, including astrology, exorcism, Tai Chi and physical healing.

He said he has students all over the globe and plans to open a second location in Florida. He and his eight student that make up the Unicorn Rangers work strictly for donations. They are looking at starting a television show with the company that produces Dog, the Bounty Hunter.

Diliiza said that after a person dies an energy trace is left behind.

"It's like how a snail will leave behind its shell," he said. He said there are higher concentrations of ghosts in places where there was a lot of trauma and emotion, such as hospitals, prisons, sanitariums and cemeteries.

Diliiza said there is a lot of paranormal activity in Maine due in part to the bloody conflicts between European settlers and American Indians.

"That can cause a great rift in energy." he said. Diliiza said he was living out west when an Indian burial ground was disturbed.

"There was a tornado that day." he said. He said that the world is filled with both good and bad energy, and it's not wise to mess with forces you don't understand.

"It can be very dangerous," said Diliiza. "For instance, the other day I had to do an entity removal from a group of young ladies who decided to play with a Ouija board. One of them says that she got thrown across the room."
Diliiza said he works to protect people from dangerous paranormal entities that inhabit our world. He said only trained professionals should look for signs of the spirit world or risk grave danger.

"Whether you believe in them or not is irrelevant. They exist, just as sure as light and dark exist," he said.

To haunt or not to haunt: Two perspectives
By David Harry and Michael Hartwell

BRIDGTON (Oct 26, 2007): The portraits and yearbooks at Bridgton Academy depict the proud history of a school which celebrates its bicentennial in 2008.

The academy also celebrates legends and lore visible to some with longtime connections to the school, specifically the spirit said to grace Massachusetts Hall, an academy dormitory.

Last week, a Westbrook-based paranormal investigator said he concurred with those who have seen and heard the spirit of a young woman in the dorm, and then said the campus has more than one entity calling it home.

The academy does not conceal the legends. "It is a marvelous part of the school's history," said Headmaster David Hursty. "It never turns off prospective students."

From left, Bridgton Academy's David Hursty and Bill Bearse look for signs of spirits with paranormal investigator Ahura Z. Diliiza outside the Massachusetts Hall dormitory at Bridgton Academy. (Photo by Michael Hartwell)

Tales surrounding Massachusetts Hall range back as far as 60 years ago, according to Hursty.

Hursty has been at the academy for 18 years, the last four as headmaster, but became acquainted with stories when he was president of the North Bridgton Historical Society.

Believers say there may be more than one spirit residing in Massachusetts Hall, but the most visible and audible entity is also known for the care and concern she shows residents in the dorm.

"She is very pleasant and likes music and would turn on stereos," said Bill Bearse, a science teacher at Bridgton Academy for more than 30 years.

Bearse, who lived in the dormitory for four years and has also had an office in the building, said the ghost, who some have called Johanna, has been heard sweeping floors in vacant rooms, locking doors residents had left unlocked, and, for Bearse, opening doors when his arms were full.

"I report what I have seen," Bearse said, adding he saw the ghost the first day he moved into the building. "I realize there are things you don't understand."

Bearse shared a story he heard about a husband and wife team who were renovating the building.
"He heard his wife come walking up the stairway and he decided to jump out and scare her," said Bearse. "And the only thing he saw was the ghost, and he never came back in the building. He went down the stairs and never came back."

Hursty has never experienced the spirit, but has no doubts about the veracity of the stories.
"I was a disbeliever for years," Hursty said, "But I have heard enough stories that are the same, yet from different types of people."

Thrill of the Hunt

Outside Massachusetts Hall last week, as wind-blown leaves scraped across the road and the shadows of tree limbs flickered under street lamps, Ahura Z. Diliiza, of the Unicorn Rangers Psychic Police paranormal investigation team based out of Westbrook, said he felt the emanations and energy of the wooden building quite clearly. He pointed to windows on the third floor, paned glass inside wooden frames.

"What they have been seeing is real," said Diliiza, who said the apparition was female before Bearse confirmed the fact. He also said the energy was essentially positive, eliminating the need to clear the building of any negative forces.

Accompanying him on the investigation were Beth Morrill and his daughter Evie Diliiza, both 23 and from Westbrook. They are both his students and Unicorn Rangers. They videotaped the event to look for clues and signs later.

From left, Unicorn Rangers Evie Diliiza, Ahura Z. Diliiza and Beth Morrill look for signs of spirits in the attic of Bridgton Academy dormitory Massachusetts Hall. (Photo by David Harry)

"Does she wear glasses?" Diliiza asked Bearse. He was told she doesn't and said it must have been something about her eyes that caught his attention. He concluded that it was her steady gaze upon him from the third story window.

Diliiza added more metaphysical paint to the portrait of the ghost. He said she was very tidy, and said that is why she would lock doors behind people.

Inside, the dormitory was largely empty as academy students attended study hall. Empty that is, except for the energy Diliiza said he felt as he walked along the upper floors.

"She is a very tickly presence, very watery,â? said Diliiza.

The tour continued with a stop in the dormitory basement, a room Hursty said brought him chills when he was setting up the computer network there.

Diliiza stepped on a metal plate covering the floor in the center of the room and said there was a cold spot in front of the ancient rust-choked coal furnace.

He said there was something underneath the spot, deep in the earth that took all the energy out of the cold spot, named not for the change in temperature, but for the congealed effect of the air.

He urged the group to hold out their palms and feel the lightness of the air around them, then step onto the plate and feel the air above it.

Also in the basement Diliiza said he was detecting the spirit of a man wearing an officer's hat, like a military man or a cab driver.

After deep concentration and thought, a wave of joy and satisfaction seemed to wash over him.

"Oh! Milkman, a milkman," he proudly announced.

"A student who lived in the room next to the stairway who would claim that he saw someone walking by with a basket or a bucket, said Bearse. Diliiza said that must have been the milkman spirit.

Outside again, Diliiza pointed again to the upper windows of the dorm.

"You can see her presence there now. There is a faint blue light there," he said.

Interested in the history of Bridgton Academy, Diliiza became more animated when told of the school's link to the Underground Railroad and the abolitionist cause in the 19th century.

From left, Unicorn Rangers Evie Diliiza and Ahura Z. Diliiza look over an old yearbook with Bridgton Academy Headmaster David Hursty. The Unicorn Rangers is a paranormal investigation team based out of Westbrook that recently looked for the alleged spirits at the school. (Photo by Michael Hartwell)

Looking to tour another building to compare the energy he found in Massachusetts Hall, Diliiza and the tour continued to the academy's administration building. In the attic of the building, Diliiza was drawn to a front room, where secret meetings of a fraternal organization were once held.

Here he detected the presence of more spirits and pointed to a spot between the attic windows where he said he could see the ghost of a former headmaster standing.

Hursty later called the finding a surprise, but said his son had told him he did not like going into the attic.
Another perspective

After reviewing some of the videos from the investigation, Dr. Steven Novella, said he is not convinced there are any spirits at Bridgton Academy.

Novella is neurologist at Yale Medical School and the president of the New England Skeptical Society, a group that investigates the methods of paranormal investigators and he said there are more mundane explanations available. He hosts a podcast at www.theskepticsguide.org that talks about paranormal activites from a scientific perspective.

"There's no such thing as a haunted house, only haunted people,â? he said.

âIt's easy to make a lot of statements, 'I feel this, I feel that,"â? said Novella. âBut he didnât demonstrate that he had any knowledgeâ? of the history. âItâs pretty standard cold reading.â?

âCold reading is a technique of making vague or general statements that are likely to apply to anyone,â? he added. Novella said this is commonly applied by psychics and it gets people to fill in the blanks the psychic made.

âLots of times people donât even realize theyâre doing this,â? he said.

âThe people who want this to be true are a very easy audience, as opposed to someone who is skeptical," said Novella.

For example, Novella brought up the scene in the video when Diliiza said he saw someone in an officer's hat wearing a uniform.

âThis is a very typical observation, the uniform bit,â? said Novella. âHe wasnât impressed when Bearse said someone had seen a ghost carrying a basket or bucket.

âThat was a really weak validation,â? he said. He said the concept of a figure carrying something was vague and could have applied to a number of things.

âPeople remember the hits, forget the misses,â? said Novella. He said this is called the Texas sharpshooter logical fallacy.

âYou just shoot against the wall and then draw a target around the bullet holes,â? he said. âThis is the kind of sloppy thinking that leads people to the false conclusions.â?

Novella said he believes some people have what is known as a fantasy-prone personality type where they think they see spirits or auras when there is nothing there.

âWhenever itâs put to any kind of test, like can you see the auras of people poking out from behind a door, they fail at those tests,â? he said.

âSaying that when you are in a hypnagogic state (between wakefulness and sleep) you can see ghosts is exactly like saying that when you take hallucinogenic drugs you can see ghosts,â? said Novella. âThese are states in which people hallucinate.â?

He said there are a lot of things that can go on in someone's mind that trick them into experiencing a fantasy they think is real. Waking dreams, for example, can pin a person in their bed and make them see figures moving about.

âPeople interpret these experiences based on their culture,â? said Novella. âIt used to be fairies and sea hags (mythological sea witch), and now itâs ghosts and little gray aliens.â?

âIf you donât have some sort of filter, some basic understanding of logic and science, youâre going to end up believing in a lot of things, even really bizarre things like ghosts and spirits,â? he said.
________________________________________________
Supplemental video from our own footage of the investigation:

Mystic Mentor

by Kathryn Skelton, Staff Writer

Taken from the Lewiston, Maine Sun Journal September 1, 2007
Photos by Darren Slover

WESTBROOK - Ahura Z. Diliiza used to stop and tell strangers when he saw something funny in their aura, and he'd get angry if they didn't listen.

Frankly, he came off as loony.

He sees that now.

A teacher taught him impulse control. To keep his head down. Zip his lips.

A year ago Diliiza (pronounced De-LEE-za) set up Maine's first school of metaphysics in an old funeral parlor on Main Street. In the evening, he heads up the Unicorn Rangers Psychic Police Department, a group whose advertised services include spell breaking, malevolent entity removal and eradicating vampirism.

They make house calls anywhere from one to 15 times a month.

He's the unicorn.

"The unicorn is a symbol of Christ and the unicorn is also a dispeller of evil," Diliiza said. "That's what I do. I dispel evil. My whole name means 'Benevolent God's champion, one who destroys evil.'"

The universe gave him the name, he said. He was born with something less exotic that he stopped using 25 years ago and prefers not to share.

Brain Box Entertainment, behind shows like the History Channel's new "The Million Dollar Challenge," is shopping a reality show based on the unorthodox school, its rangers' close encounters with the unusual and Diliiza, a striking Mr. T-like figure with long blond dreadlocks.

In his office, packed with recording equipment, bagpipes and a "life tree" no one's allowed to touch, he's ambivalent about the idea of becoming a star on the small screen.

"I did tell them, look, I'm not interested in some show like 'Ghost Hunters,'" he said. "I'm a real paranormal investigator, I'm not someone who's going to run when a ghost shows up. They show up all the time."

The rules: No drama

Diliiza opened a retail store first, seven years ago, in downtown Portland. He's originally from Los Angeles, where he said he grew up poor, watching people get shot point-blank.

"I was working at Denny's, at the Congress Denny's, then moved to the Brighton Denny's. Then one day I was walking down Congress and decided it was time to just start," he said.

He sold candles, incense and herbs out of the small storefront, and offered classes.

Just over a year ago he moved into the former funeral parlor.

When the next session at Unicorn Cove School of Metaphysics starts Sept. 12, there will be a whole slate of course offerings: tarot, numerology, psychic development, soul travel, meditation, martial arts. Tai chi, belly dance and hula classes, aikido, psychic development and psychic police training and something called Pegascene -a class that once took Diliiza and his students to Indiana for a chili-cheeseburger, just for the experience -are ongoing.

Pegascene's about strength, beauty, exploring culture and learning from the adventure, he said. In another field trip, students dressed like rednecks and went to the Christmas Tree Shop.

Diliiza teaches most classes at the school. Family and other staff, such as a chief prayer warrior, - who Diliiza trained - do the rest.

He interviews all potential students, "reads" them and asks, "What do you want?" He said he turns down more than he accepts.

"If you want to help, I'm interested in you. If you want to master something, I'm interested in you...

"But if you just want to look cool and say that you know magic, I have no interest whatsoever," said Diliiza, 47.

"There's a lot of magic to be learned in this world. Magic isn't about saying abracadabra and making a door open."

The school's rules are strict and framed on the wall: No drama. No drugs. No dating. No, this isn't a cult or coven. And leave what others have to say at the door; it doesn't matter.

Classes are by donation only; so are all the rangers' services.

That has some people suspect, he said. "People just don't believe that someone like me even exists, they don't believe it. They think I want something, and I don't, I really don't. I have talent, I have a gift."

Fees for extras, like $15 for a fire bath (drawing out negative energy using fire cups) and $30 for astrological charts, help pay the bills.

Even then, "If you need healing, you don't have the money, the money is irrelevant," Diliiza said.
He, his wife and daughter live upstairs in the former Hay Funeral home. A downstairs room sells statues and tea herbs: Dragon balance, Buddha's clarity, cedar, pine cones and jars marked "girl tea" and "boy tea."
Girl tea is for monthly symptoms, Diliiza said. Boy tea is for "stupid symptoms."

'The impossible happens daily'

Diliiza said he's a telepath; he describes the ability as letting him see further, "my eyes are bigger than yours." A lot of his message gets at the power of positive thinking and energy (don't wish something bad on someone, it'll bounce back onto you).

"I'm very 'what you see is what you get.' No trinkets. No silly waving about of wands," he said.

"Mysticism says that anything is possible. As a matter of fact, the impossible happens daily, all you have to do is take the blinders off. That's what mysticism is."

Diliiza raised the school's profile recently with commercials on the Sci-Fi Channel. One warning about "psychic predators" was inspired, Diliiza said, by a frantic woman who came in complaining that a local psychic "wanted to charge her $900 and told her if she didn't come back to see her that she couldn't help her because her son would die."

That frantic woman is one of many people who have sought out Diliiza. He figures he's helped thousands across the country.

Kristen Theroux of Standish came in seeking guidance. She was referred by her mom's co-worker. Two years later, she's one of the nine Unicorn Rangers psychic policemen.

"I was one of the people that ended up there, I would say by coincidence, but there's really no such thing," she said.

Rangers' services include everything from removing hexes - "You would be amazed at how many people hex each other, not even meaning to," according to Diliiza - to offering a sort of psychic muscle at weddings.

He stations rangers to keep "negative vibrations" off the bride and groom. An ordained minister, he performs the ceremony.

More common are house calls to people experiencing paranormal activity. They can't sleep, have visions.
"I have to go out and determine whether there's an actual paranormal event taking place or does that person just drink too much cough syrup," Diliiza said.

If it's legit, to his mind, there's a cleansing ceremony with Bible verses, holy water and an exorcism.
Once rangers leave, Diliiza tells homeowners to cool it with the arguing, fussing, drugs or drinking - or risk inviting the bad energy back. (See sidebar for one encounter with an ugly phantom, in his own words.)
Despite the standing offer, no Maine police have approached him for help with open cases.

Diliiza's started a $100,000 building fund on the school's Web site, asking for donations toward a bigger space. The eventual goal: Have 12 schools of metaphysics around the world. Theroux, down in Florida now with two other rangers, hopes to open the first satellite Unicorn Cove store in a year.

Diliiza grins at the idea of rangers running each of those schools. "I'll just get to flit around then and look mystical."

He sent in tapes to Brain Box of two recent home cleansings. In one, family members reported being pushed and hurt. He performed an exorcism and destroyed their Ouija board.

Genevieve Croteau, development manager at Brain Box, said it's a "notoriously slow" process to pitch and sell a show, and they're approaching everybody.

Diliiza's "sparkling personality, his dedication and his conviction" would make for a great reality show, she said. "We think this one has a lot of potential, especially because of Ahura. He's the 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' of the psychic world."

A Unicorn Rangers House Call in Ahura Z's Words

Taken from the Sun Journal, Lewiston, ME

Saturday, September 1, 2007

Photos by Darren Slover

A young couple came in for help, because they were experiencing nightmares, loss of energy and a constant feeling of fear in their home. They had a 3-year-old daughter who seemed terrified to be left alone.
The mother who was a practitioner of Wicca herself and a very positive woman, was experiencing chronic mood swings, and "nothing was going right," as she put it. "It's my home, and I'm afraid to be there. I feel as if something horrible is watching me, and it's always so cold, but not a cold that I can get away from."

I'd been acquainted with her before, and she always seemed cheerful and vital, but now she was pale and looked exhausted. I asked her if anything bad happened on her property, and she said that she didn't know. I got an impression of a man, and began drawing a picture of the person that I saw in my vision. She saw the picture and reacted violently as if she recognized the picture. I made arrangements to meet her and her husband at their home. He was a musician and had a mini studio in the home, and other than the constant "creepy feeling" and the occasional nightmare, had very nominal experiences.

Upon arriving with my team, I noticed that there was indeed a very thick energy emanation. The air around the house looked dim, and almost liquid. I immediately instructed my prayer warriors to begin reciting prayers of protection for the family, and the team.

I dispatched two of my agents to stay with the family and one to take photographs.

As we entered the home I stopped because my attention was drawn upwards. I looked up to see what looked like footprints, actual footprints on the ceiling leading into the house. It was as if someone had taken their shoes and walked them on the ceiling. It was then that I felt the cold, my whole team did. Normally what people call a "cold spot" is not a cold spot but just a "nothing spot." In other words, energy is energy, and needs energy in order to be. So just like we, who have a body, need energy in the form of food to survive, those that are without a body need energy in the form of electromagnetic or kinetic energy in order to be. Therefore the result is what is called by the psychic policemen a "nothing spot," which feels cold because the energy has been temporarily drained (or eaten) in order to sustain the paranormality in that particular space.

The place was very cold, and I wondered at the state of the house, and asked why there was so much still incomplete in their decoration. The wife said that they just can't get it done. Every time they try to complete one thing something breaks, and there is no explanation for it. I got the impression of cats being under the porch, or floor boards, and asked if there are cats. She said that they found the skeletons of a bunch of cats under the house after they purchased it.

I knew at that time that we were dealing with a phantom, and without going into another rant on what a phantom is, lets just say that it can hurt you or even cause you to hurt yourself. I concluded that the house needed to be cleaned, and began setting up my tools. Immediately a toy that belonged to the child began to spontaneously talk, LOUDLY. Now the fact that the toy talked wasn't abnormal - as it was a toy that talked when you pulled its string - but the fact that it talked at that time, when no one was near it, was abnormal, and it even stuttered. "Would you count with me, count with me, would you count with me one, two, three, would you count with me..." I finally said sternly "Knock it off!" and it stopped. The family jumped when the toy spoke, and almost comically drew close to me. I calmed them down and assured them that the policemen that were assigned to them would allow nothing to happen to them. That seemed to work, until a stove in the room clicked to life.

I looked at the husband, who looked as pale as a ghost, which prompted me to move over to the stove. I saw what the husband was reacting to. It looked as if the stove had been disconnected, as the wires were actually severed. One fell to the floor as if on cue. The husband said the stove had been disconnected for six months, and there was no WAY that should be happening. At that time something else began to occur. On the chimney, a face began to appear as an impression on the bricks. I recognized the face and asked "Kelly," my chief, to bring me the drawing that I did during our first meeting with the family. I compared them, and there he was, almost identical to the drawing. We now knew who the culprit was and what had to be done. I took the family to a high energy room, which happened to be the husband's mini studio, and instructed them to stay there. I had two of my officers with prayers put holy water in strategic places around the home.

And I began the exorcism. All of a sudden the place grew warm, and the stove again clicked as if trying to ignite itself, the toy talked and a very angry presence filled the air. I proceeded. The ceremony that I perform employs white candles, and the key element of this ritual is to not be distracted, no matter what. The air thickened around my hand that was holding the candle, and I saw what looked like a hand trying to bat the candle from my hands. Someone was screaming aimless words at me that really had no form and were meant solely to distract me. I proceeded.

Finally there was a pop, and the thickness in the air went away. The house felt lighter. I called the family out and left them with instructions to follow, which they did, and last I heard they were doing fine. They have since completed the work on the house, the husband, who was ill, has recovered, the wife is back to her bright self, and the child is fine. As I understand it, they sold the house and live somewhere in Portland.

Love Spell

I wrote this song because many have asked me to do love spells for them. While, yes, I can and have before performed such spells as to cause someone to be enamored with another person, always have I known that in order to perform a "love spell" there must already be some connection of the very seed of love--not lust or fancy, but the basic elements that, if unhindered, would blossom into what are known today as love or romantic love, if you will.

Being the type of mystic that I am, a test of character is ever set before me; how to perform a love spell, yet not fall into the social ideology of what a love spell is. Remember; the basic law of all forms of mysticism is to harm none and the moment that you perform any spell that would violate a person's free will, then you have broken that law, however small the violation may seem. So this spell can only be performed when there is a clear and agreed-upon relationship established, or if you are requesting your betrothed from the Goddess (not for someone you think that you like, or someone you have designs upon) .

That being said, since it is decreed by the Goddess herself that all find true love, learn this spell. It is child-like, but so then is true love.

Peace, Ahura Z.
Pisces Projekt

(Sinari)

Blessed be! By decree,

From the Goddess, meant for thee:

That true love, you were meant to find.

If you will take this step,

Brought to being while you slept.

Fondest dreams, She has given life!

(Zakhuur)

Light your candle, tie two ribbons;

One for you and your intended.

With wax melted, seal your letter

With these words,

Written clearly...

Roses red, violets blue,I just want to be next to you.

Like two diamonds in the sky, our love will always shine.

Have no fear, I am near. Feel me whisper in your ear;

You and I are meant to be!

I hate weakness!!!

Weeellll Hellooo:, and greetings to all..
Let me first open by asking forgiveness, for I have sinned. Its been a few months since my last rant, but Iâm sure that I will make up for it in this one as my family of short bus passengers, (humanity), has never failed to give me plenty to rant aboutâ

That being said lets begin with weakness. It is with great disdain that I here-by announce humanity as the weakest species on the planet. But why, why Z? Why do you call us weak? I mean youâre human too arenât you? YES! O.K.. Iâm human, and therefore just as weak as the rest of you, but making that assessment at least I am willing to change, and hopefully others will follow suit.. But first let me give you the reason for this rather harsh assessmentââ.

Over the last seven years I have watched many a crime be committed by humanity under the guise of religion, and social and political advancement. Racial, and sexual discrimination has again run rampant, causing the destruction of the lives of people of color, sexual preference and diverse religious affiliation, for no other reason than make the few dinosaurs that the comet forgot to take, feel as though they are superior to those that have built, maintained, and cherished this young country. Women have been set apart as if they were nothing more than âpetsâ? To be cared for as if they are not capable of taking care of themselves.

If you are a woman between the ages of 16, and 30, it is a pretty standard procedure to tell you that there is an unusual growth on your ovaries, or uterus, so a biopsy should be performed so that they can assess whether or not the growth is cancerous, and that you may have to undergo a small surgical procedure called a laparoscopy, which is to remove a small piece of tissue from the tip of your uterus, but donât worry, it will grow back, and whatâs worse youâre actually pressured, PRESSURED to do this by whom?. Other women that work for Some old guy that looks as if he discovered that liver spots were mystical runes of prosperity,

Well maybe he has something there because there are probably in the state of Maine alone about a million of you that are walking around with chunks of your thingy missing, simply because someone knows that women are most afraid of two thingsâ

1. Breast cancer. 2. Uterine cancer. God! Didnât anyone even bother to question the judgment of a doctor that wanted to perform such a procedure on a 15 year old GIRL?

Weeelllll, HEEELLLL Noo! That would mean that the so-called womenâs movement groups would actually have to get up off of their lazy,, âlets blame everything on men, because its easier to swallow than realizing that it is biased groups like them that have done more to hurt women than any man ever could, fat, women are from Venus, men are from mars,( I myself am from Jupiter) believing, airy fairy I really donât want to do anything to better myself, or other women so Iâll just look in the mirror and declare myself a goddess, and hope that no one will see that the reason Iâm in this womenâs march against something? Is because I allowed my mom to convince me that the only reason that women are here on this planet , and my only reason for living is to have babies. So now my self esteem is SHOT, and perhaps I should band together with others like myself, and we can pretend that help can ONLY come from another woman. (interestingly enough it is totally ignored that your mother is female), so long as she hates men tooâ?, ASSES, and march for something that was worth marching about like, hmmm lets seeâ.

The fact that women STILL have to pay for feminine products, when they should be provided free.

The fact that women on the whole STILL get paid less than men for doing the same, and often times better job.

The fact that your fear of breast, and uterine cancer is used to keep you in a constant state of paranoia, , DELIBERATELYâ.

The fact that STILL women have very little protection from the law, when it comes to domestic abuse, and rapeâ

The fact that women, and young girls are STILL taught in schools, by stupid insecure men and by other WOMEN, (shame),

That they should only pursue certain fields of study, or career that are suitable for a woman. (weak, weak, weak, WEAK!)

The fact that it is ACTUALLY promoted, and supported, that it is a womanâs DUTY, not choice, but DUTY to give her life up, and have babies, EVEN if she knows that sheâs not capable of being a parentâ

The fact that a woman that is physically strong, and in some cases stronger than a man.

And doesnât like to wear pink, she is called âtom boyâ?, or âlesbianâ? (I personally find that one outrageously funny, because I happen to affiliate myself with strong women, and they are ALL the epitome of femininity, and beauty âHeck, I even married one., or she married me, or$@$^, what ever, YOU know what I mean dammit!)

March against something like that, N.O.Wâ.I dare you.. No? too weak?

Fine! If you wont be champions for women, and humanity,âI will!

Oooooh,,Ooooh Noooo You cant do that youâre a Maaaaan, and weâll tell other women not to listen to you because you love women, and weâll tell other weak people who we know donât have the intestinal fortitude to find out for themselves that weâve heard bad things about you, and that you do voodoo because thatâs what ALL black people do. And weâll spread rumors that that Z. guy is bad, even though we know that the only reason we are saying that is because he doesnât approve of marijuana, or drinking, and because he really does have a gift, and weâre mad because he wont use it to RIP PEOPLE OFF like we doâ

Well You are RIGHT! I AM a man baby, and donât you ever for get it. A GOOD man.

I was created by GOOD STRONG women helped me hone my gifts to razor sharpness, and since it is these women that I owe my life to, I will do everything in my power, and if you wont use it correctly, YOURS to help lift the magnificent expression of the One TRUE GODDESS, that is called woman to her rightful placeââON TOP! Therefore I am announcing my candidacy for âGoddesses Championâ?, (that should burn a few bras)

For those of you that in your weakness deem it necessary to nay say Ahura Z. Dilliza, and his profound love of women. For those of you that think that the Goddess can only be channeled through a woman, or lily pad walking geisha boy. For those that will not stand up for the Goddess, and her servant, hear you thisâ.

For every foul, done where eâre you be

She will return thee three times three,

This Unicorn her servant be,

And will not brook be plagued by thee,

Repair ye now what ye have done,

For Mother/Father, moon, and sun,

Be witness to your spoken crime,

And now turn what was three to nine,

So all be noticed here this day,

To speak no script you cannot pay,

For aye, she will collect from you,

Wrongs to her servant done by youâ..

Donât be weak, weakness creates fear, fear creates anger, anger creates hatred, and hatred creates evil. Stand up. Donât be programmed, donât be backed into a corner by social, and political beliefs. Women, and men are equal mentally, physically, and spiritually, and if anybody tries to stand in the way of your evolution, under the guise of friendship, family, religion, political agenda, or racial, and sexual preference GET AWAY FROM THEM!!! For it is they that are evil, and just because they say that they are a couple of âWicca Witchesâ?, doesnât make them right, or trust worthy. Weakness is best defined by what a person is willing, or unwilling to undertake based upon the opinion of others, in other words will I be liked if I do thisâ.Probably not by the majority, but you will be appreciated if you act at least honorably, and true to the principal of Magic which is incidentally â..To HARM NO ONE. ( not intentionally at least.

In closing I will make a stand against weakness by re-affirming my allegiance to the Goddess, and light, and I hope that there are others that share my passion for truth, and evolutionâ.Donât be a part of the sickness that has infected humanity, get up tell those people that think that they can tell you what to be to take a long walk off of a short pier,

Have a coke, and a smile and to shut the !@## up!

Oh one more thingâ..Itâs the year of the Fire Pig, not the âGolden Pigâ? Now that you know my reasons for declaring humanity weak, perhaps you can prove me wrong. Change. Donât follow the crowd just because itâs the crowd. End racism, and sexism. And to my Sisters that I have been commissioned to serve. ..Donât let them convince you that your life is supposed to be forfeit just because youâre the girlâ Next they will try to convince you that women are too emotional, and prone to instability, and should therefore not be allowed to voteâ. ( Oops did I spill the beans?)â.

Perhaps I should end my rather lengthy rant, someone might get the Idea that I actually REALLY DO love womenâ.. Peace. Ahura Z. a.k.a. The Unicornâ

Gung Hei Fa Choy, Happy Chinese New Year

Gung Hei Fa-Choy and Happy New Year. As you may or may not know, Feb. 18 is Chinese New Year. It will be the year of the pig. What exactly is Chinese New Year and what does it mean it's year of the pig? How do you celebrate Chinese New Year?

This is for all of you that were afraid to ask ...

1. What is Chinese New Year?

Chinese New Year is a time of happiness, prosperity, and longevity. On this day, all debts and all grudges are called off, NO EXCEPTIONS. It is a time of wishing prosperity, happiness, and longevity to everyone. It's a time of second chances, a time of starting over with a clean slate.

To the Chinese, it is the year 4705. It is also known as the Spring Festival, or Lunar New Year ( it always falls on the first new moon of the Chinese lunar calender. ) The celebration lasts for 15 days and each day has it's own significant meaning and tradition, ( for example, the seventh day is considered everyone's birthday, so they celebrate everyone growing one year older together.) Chinese New Year ends on the full moon (the fifteenth day of the new moon) and is celebrated by the infamous Lantern Festival. The Lantern Festival is a time with everyone brings a lantern to the parade, and watches the Dragon lantern dance around everyone because the Dragon is a symbol of prosperity.

2. What is the history behind Chinese New Year?

There are many stories as to the origins of Chinese New Year. The most common legend you will come across is the story of the Nian, the man-eating monster. Once a year, Nian would come down from the mountains to eat the villagers. Furious, the villagers one day decided to join together to scare away Nian by using what they had: red fireworks, drums, and gongs. When Nian came back around, the villagers set off the fireworks, banged on their drums and gongs, and wore the color red (rumor had it that Nian was afraid of the color red.) Much to their surprise, it worked. Nian was defeated by the loud noises and by the color red. Nian never came back to prey on the villagers after that. The villagers had a huge celebration in honor of their victory.

3. What's with all the animals?

The origin of the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac is still unknown. However, there are legends as to how the particular order came to be. The most popular legend you will find is that one day the Heavenly Jade Emperor started a race among the animals. The first twelve that came up to heaven would be rewarded a year named after them. The ox was in the lead, but the rat (who was on the ox's back) jumped off at the end and made it to the Jade Emperor first. As each animal arrived, the Jade Emperor rewarded them their own year, starting with the rat and ending with the pig.

4.What does year of the pig mean?

You may come across a few websites indicating that it will be year of the GOLDEN pig, however do not believe this. Astrologically speaking, it will be year of the Fire Pig. What this means, is that this year will be a prosperous year: good for businesses, excellent for finishing up any projects or goals one may have.

5. How do you celebrate Chinese New Year?

The Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year by having a huge family dinner and by handing eachother "Lucky Money" (money inside little red envelopes, ) Traditionally, the adults give the kids "Lucky Money" to start off their new year with prosperity, yet adults will still give eachother Lucky Money.

For decorations, some people like to put up couplets that have prosperous meanings (i.e. " May you have good luck and longevity this year." ) They usuallly are written in gold characters on red paper. Oranges and tangerines are present as well, because these symbolize good luck and wealth.

Certain colors are also present in order to greet the new year. For example, the colors orange and gold symbolize prosperity, and the color red represents banishing away negative energy in order to receive prosperity.

Lion dances, and firecrackers are performed in front of businesses during Chinese New Year. This lion dance is for exorcising negativity and drawing forth good luck and prosperity, and the firecrackers are also used to ward away evil spirits.

And lastly, you may have heard Chinese people saying "Gung Hei Fa-Choy (Cantonese) " or "Gong Xi Fa Chai" (Mandarin) which literally means, "I wish you to be prosperous." They will also say Happy New Year, "Sun nin fy lok" (Cantonese) / "Xin nian kuai le" (Mandarin.) However, it is more common to wish others prosperity ("Gung Hei Fa Choy.")

As you can see, Chinese New Year is about celebrating the coming of prosperity and good luck to all. Hopefully, this has helped clear up any questions that you may have had.

We here at Unicovia, Unicorn Cove, and Unicorn 1 Records would like to wish you all Gung Hei Fa Choy and Happy New Year.

Internet dating sites and the people who use them

O.K! I have just one word for those that think it's a good idea to meet someone over the internet, and date them........

What the $@#$!%!#$%^*#%$#^%^*(%&^@T&*#%^$%!#$$!~@#$!II%^#@%^!#$%^, is WRONG WITH YOU!!!. Are you really THAT insecure, and socially inept that you would have to resort to, putting your information,(stupid), and your emotional needs, along with either a picture of what you used to look like, or even worse..Apicture cut out from a comic book, on the world wide web for EEEvvrrryone, and their mother to see, just how F.U.B.A.R. you, and others like you ARE. Look, I know that it's hard speaking, and communicating like a human being, when your "thingy" wants to either poke, or be poked, but let's tryyy to have at least a little dignity shall we? I speak to perhaps hundreds of people, personally on a monthly basis, about relationships, and I dont care how many disgusting crimes, traagedies, and other attrocities that occur on a daily basis, because of internet fraud, porn., and disallusion, there is always, ALWAYS, some dodo, that asks this question, " I met this guy, on "MY SPACE", and he' seems really nice. Do you think that he's the one?, Or, hey, out of all of the guys that I've talked to, on the net. He's the only one that did'nt ask me out right away, is'nt that sweet? OH MY GOD! Did'nt they teach you people ANYthing in school? I mean other than to be victims, or smoke pot?

Anyone who thinks that it is a good Idea to date someone that you met on a website, is a !!@#! fool. 1. Did it ever occur to you that maybe the reason that this person is on the net is because they probably look like a SWAMP DONKEY, from HELL, and doesnt want to do anything to change it, and is looking for someone with either the self-esteem of a speed bump, or lower so that they can validate themselves by saying that someone is interested in me, or at least their "image", of me. Or perhaps this person that has deemed it a good thing to perhaps tease, or even "cheat" on a current relationship electronically of course, so that there is no real commitment. Or maybe you did'nt think about the fact that this person is probably incapeable of meeting someone living, without first testing the emotionally crippled internet waters therefore does not have to think about whether, or not everyone knows that he/she is a social Butt---k Hey! Heres an Idea. Try walking up to someone on the street, and saying Hi!, and just moving on. Perhaps if you are fortunate that person might say, hello, good'ay, or even smil, but if they dont move on! I know that it's not as pretentious, or as fantastic as making someone think that you look like "The Rock", when you reeeaaallly look like "Jabba the Hutt", but at least you're being real, and safe.

As for the youngsters that are allowed to use the internet to meet people,,,Your parents should be horse whipped, and you right along with them. It is my firm belief that when it is discovered that a child is the victim of internet porn, and indiscretion, over the net, the PARENTS should also be brought up on charges, for allowing someone underage to have, a page on "my space", which incidently was supposed to be a place for "musicians", to meet, compare, notes. and create new musical contacts.....Hmmm... I wonder how many of the people on my space, are actually musicians????? Oh well, Perhaps we should ask the old guy at E-harmony.com I mean after all they have Dr. Phil. Or maybe that old lady Dr. Ruth, and she can tell you how to ssstttrrrroke the keyboard. E-harmony.con he he he. sorry, Anyways There is only one way that internet dating would work, If it was non-existant.

Now in fairness I have to say that there are probably a few people that swear by internet dating, and can say that every one of the dates that they have been on have been great,,,,, and thats why they will keep using the internet to meet people....Because all of their dates are great.....

As for the rest of you who might be actually willing to find or be found by the right one? Guess what? They are NOT going to find you on the computer screen.......If I have offended anyone, or E-harmony.Con.... Dont worry, I wont ask you to find me someone.....Peace Ahura Z

Response to Rich Man Claiming to be Jesus

This was a post made August 26 on the "Ask the Unicorn" message board at Unicorn Cove.com

Rich Preacher claims he is Jesus

I went to the MSNBC.com to look up a link and I found this man he claimed he is Jesus. I would like your opinion on this man. You may laugh as much as I did.

Response by Ahura Z.

Wow! Cool! Ask him for money!!! And ask him for, uhhh
bread! And OOh, OOOh! We could have Beans! Why is it that Every rich person thinks that Jesus is, or was, or will be rich and on T.V? Its just amazing that there are people that still do that...Oh Well, I guess
if Jesus is rich, that leaves people like us out huh? We're just, poor talented folk that Really represent what Jesus stood for, We work for a living, making just enough to be broke, Trying hard to be good in a society that guages your worth by how much money that you make. Doing good works whether, or not it gets noticed by the "news" stations who only want to support you if you're rich, mediocre, and call yourself Jesus! Ya know what? I'm protesting. How DARE he call himself Jesus, when everyone knows that I'm Jesus, and She's Jesus....And he's Jesus....and their Jesus....And you're Jesus...and
Wait!....Is he the Cracked out hells Angel looking Jesus?
Or the Reeaally pathetic, begging wimpy boy Jesus?
Or the The Really smart Jesus, that would'nt come back
and announce that he is Jesus because he knows that
1. Stupid people would probably ask him to take a "secret Jesus test", and try to KILL him, so that they could see if he really IS immortal, then try to coerce him to be a stupid repubican, or dumocrat, so that they could say that "Jesus is on our side"
2. Nobody really wants him to come back because they know that they have really screwed up their lives, and the lives of others by doing everything that Jesus didnt
want them to do like, Judge everybody that they possibly could that looked different than they do, make up a BUNCH
of religions that had absolutely nothing to do with Jesus,
or what Jesus taught...Killed people, in Jesus's name( as
if the Son of Almighty God really needs to threaten anybody)..Lied about him, and called his WIFE, a Whore...
Turned him into the ONLY pasty white blue eyed blonde haired pansy boy in the WHOLE of the middle east, and
told people that if they didnt agree with their lie then they would be killed...So the people that started, and support religion know DAMN well that they are not getting into anybody's heaven, so the last thing that they would let happen is Jesus survive the night! so dont you think that Jesus is smart enought to know better than to announce his arrival through the News? Not to mention that The voice of the son of God, I imagine could be heard by the rocks if he wanted it to,( reference the sermon on the mount)( no microphones), and all around the world.
So if he does come,,, I'm sure that all of us will know, at once... Sorry...sorryy....sorryyy...I'm ranting again arent I..
Heh, heh...I think that if Jesus were smart hed, be a bunch of people, all at once, THAT way you couldnt nail him down...Uuuhhh oops....that didnt come out just right.
Oooooh..Heres a thought.....What if he were BLACK!...
Or FEMALE!!! Wow! a Female Christ!! I think that we should all tell everyone to say that they are Jesus, You
know like in that movie, Malcolm X......I am Malcolm X.
I Am Jesus!!!, and see if it makes this guy mad....I am
Here by Declaring Every Woman that I see to be Jesus!!!
I am hereby declaring Every Man to be Jesus!!! and so
long as you strive to be like him...TRULY like him...
then YOU ALL ARE JESUS.....( I bet the news wont talk about this) Peace to all Jesus's....Ahura Z. a.k.a. Jesus....

Maine's First School of Metaphysics

PRESS RELEASE

Maine's First School of Metaphysics Opens it's Doors in Westbrook

Unicorn Cove School of Metaphysics and New Age Supply Shop prepares for it's grand opening August 2-5. Located on Main Street in Westbrook, Unicorn Cove offers a variety of classes, services and supplies to the public.

Westbrook, Maine July 27, 2006 -- Maine's first school of metaphysics officially opened it's doors on Main Street in Westbrook on July 1, 2006. Unicorn Cove School of Metaphysics and New Age Supply Shop is owned and operated by Ahura Zakhuur Diliiza, who teaches classes and offers a variety of services in addition to metaphysical supplies.

Zakhuur has an honorary degree in being a big brother. As a martial artist, musician, and metaphysics teacher, he has served as a powerful role model for many people, including teens trying to stay off the streets and off of drugs. In August, he will take his mentoring role and business acumen to a new level: as founder of the first school of metaphysics in Maine, designed to empower everyone from teen-agers to the elderly and all in between. "I teach people to be free. To do what you love to do. If you do what you love to do, the Universe will always meet you on that street corner".

When Zakhuur opened his business at his new location in Westbrook, he got proximity to Maine's largest Ginkgo tree to boot. Like the tree, Zakhuur's metaphysical shop and learning center has grown and thrived, blossoming into Unicorn Cove School of Metaphysics and New Age Supply Shop. The school, which is the first of its kind in Maine, will offer services and classes in everything from spiritual development to music therapy to meditation. "I believe that everybody should strive to seek their own mastery. Each one of us has some place that we are masters of. My job is to help people reach that".

The grand opening, which will be held at 795 Main Street on Wednesday, August 2nd through Saturday, August 5th from 10am to 6pm, will feature 10-minute readings for $5; raffles for prizes; free 5-minute readings on Saturday from 11-12:30; and an "Ask The Unicorn" game where people draw runes from a bowl and the one with the unicorn rune gets to ask their question. Information on classes, services and other offerings will be available, and registration for classes will also commence.

Classes, which are held in both group and private settings, include subjects such as Beginning Mysticism, Tai Chi, Psychic Self-Defense, Dream Interpretation, Astrology and Herbalism, among many others. Instead of offering a traditional syllabus, all classes through Unicorn Cove are based on students' desire to learn. There is also no fixed tuition. Says Zakhuur, "I can't charge a set price for what it is that I teach. All those who want to can learn from me. If I help you to increase yourself, leave a donation so I can keep doing it!" In addition, Unicorn Cove offers a variety of services such as healing, counseling, telepathic readings, astrological charts, and paranormal investigation/entity removal, some of which are also available by donation.

In addition to teaching and offering the above services Zakhuur is a musical artist. He has his own record label, Unicorn 1 Records, under which he writes, performs and records all of his own music. He utilizes his music studio in offering a form of music therapy he calls Vibrational Frequency, which is a combination of tones prepared according to a personÃ??s specific vibration used to enhance and help connect them with their higher self. He also hopes to be an active example to young local musicians of someone doing something positive with their talents. "My job is as a facilitator; facilitating people to realize their dreams" he says. "Or at least get them to a place where they have the confidence to do what it is they want to do". He plans on utilizing his studio to give young local musicians an opportunity to record their own music.

The motto of Unicorn Cove is "A haven for seekers of beauty, truth and understanding". Through Unicorn Cove Zakhuur hopes to give the community a sanctuary where they can learn and evolve. "People need to know there is a place that they can come where they will not be judged, where they will be taught. You have more potential than you have been let on to know".

For more information about the information contained in this release, please contact Sinari Diliiza or visit www.unicorn-cove.com. All classes, products and most services are also available online at www.unicorn-cove.com.
Prosperity Spell

We have just entered the waxing phase of the moon, and it is a perfect time to introduce to you a prosperity spell...

You will need:

Two unscented candles, one white and one green.

One silver coin

Spell:

Earth, Fire, Wind and Sea

Grant your powers invest in me!

One in three is three in one,

Prosperity's show has now begun!

To us, to us, in God we trust.

Affluence, now, is finding us!

Money comes in three times three,

As Nature moves, so shall it be!

Directions:

Go outside on a night during the waxing moon where you can see the moon clearly. In a safe spot, light your candles. Hold the silver coin in your dominant hand, heads up, and lift it in front of you so you can see the reflection of the moon in it's surface. Recite the spell 7 times while gazing at the moon's reflection in the face of the coin. After the 7th time, place the coin in your pocket and put your candles out. Know that it is done. The coin you must keep with you. You will see results within 3 days.

Notes about performing this spell:

Take some time before performing your spell to prepare. Gather your materials. Plan where you will perform the spell and when (make sure you will be in an undisturbed spot and will not be bothered for the duration of the spell). Have the spell memorized so that your complete focus will be on what you are doing, not divided between trying to perform the spell and reading it off a sheet of paper. When it is time to perform the spell, make sure you will be able to do it uninterrupted. Take a moment to clear your mind and focus on the task at hand. When the spell is complete, know that your request has been received and be confident that you will receive confirmation soon.

Your silver coin should be in the currency of your own country, and must remain with you after the spell has been performed. Keep in mind that in the practice of magic certain things cannot be compromised. Silver means silver--not something that looks like silver and to concentrate on it as if it were real silver--100 percent sterling silver. The silver will amplify your thoughts, as it is highly conductive of electromagnetism. As this is a prosperity spell, a silver coin is your best option. Make sure it is completely silver (not silver-coated), and in the currency of your own country. If you are unable to obtain a silver coin, then a small silver object will work just fine. (If you have a problem finding silver, in the interest of magic and in the interest of doing it correctly, let me know. I can tell you where to find something silver or, as a last resort, send you something silver) Make sure when the spell is finished that you keep the silver coin with you.

This spell should be performed outside where you can see the moon, however, it may not be practical for you to do this. If you are unable to perform the spell outside, you may do it indoors in a quiet place and use your imagination to see the reflection of the moon in the surface of the coin. In this case, you should let the candles sit in a safe place where they will not be disturbed until they have burned themselves out completely (again, if this is not a practical option for you, you may put them out when you have finished performing your spell). The phase of the moon is still important, however. It must be in its waxing phase (going from new to full).

The candles must be unscented, as you do not want any thought other than your own put on them. Tealights work best as they are small and self-contained, but small votives or tapers are fine. Just make sure they are unscented. When your spell is done and it is time to put your candles out, wave them out with your hand or snuff them with a candle snuffer. NEVER BLOW OUT YOUR CANDLES. Neither should you lick your fingers and pinch them out. This is disrespectful to the flame and to the energy of the magic you are performing.

In any event, certain things need to be done exactly explicitly, certain thing do not. If you have any questions about this spell, (or any other questions at all!), please don't hesitate to contact me.

This Week's Rant

Well Greetings and Merry Meet to you all. It's been awhile since my last rant, only because of time constraints. But the busier things are, the more there is to rant about, it seems. Well, here goes (deep breath)...

It would seem that our news media thinks that the American public is just a bunch of stupid, back-water morons that will believe anything just because it's on the TV picture box! News media programs such as CNN, Fox (unfair and unbalanced) and Good Morning America, among others, have decided that fear and paranoia is a good thing. All you ever hear is what's wrong, and if there is a good thing happening, they will purposefully glance over it to direct your attention to September eleventh, 2001. Let's see... oh, that's right! it's 2006. The things that are happening now in this country that are positive you will never hear of unless, of course, yet another Hollywood couple decides to switch sleeping partners, get knocked up and show how much weaker and smaller they can make the gene po--excuse me, gene cup--or how disrespectful they can be to all of the good men and women that have worked endlessly to bring some sort of decency and well-being to parts of Africa for decades, before Angelina Jolie was born. It's all in the way you look at it, isn't it guys?

Every day, in some way, shape or form, we the public are inundated with fabrications of doom in order to keep us in a controllable state of fear, so that anything that we venture to think of as positive is questioned. I and others like me cry FOUL, and shame on the news media. Was it actually supposed to be a good thing to see a dead man's face plastered all over my TV screen on every channel? Look, you morons, I have a six-year-old little girl that was horrified that the man on television was killed, and they were happy about it! I CRY FOUL. Never again should that be allowed. Never mind the karmic ramifications for our country. While I am all for our troops completing their mission so that they can come home, that was unacceptable. There was no reason for it. Regardless of what that man did, he has a family, and if our media is going to promote family values, then do it always, not until it's unprofitable.

Even in the weather, let's look at the truth. If the levies hadn't failed, Katrina would not really be news. I mean, hurricanes happen every year in Florida, Louisiana, etc. EVERY YEAR. IT IS THE NATURE OF THE ELEMENTS THERE. I feel for the people that lost their families, homes, jobs and lives and, true, New Orleans suffered a harsh blow, but look; if New Orleans couldn't handle it, shouldn't we all look to lift her up? You would think that the media would focus in on what's being done to help her. But no, let's sit around and figure out how we can capitalize off of the pain and agony that the people are going through and maybe, just maybe, we will find a way to control them and make them believe that if they do what WE THE MEDIA says, then they will be alright. So it seems that Satan is real after all -- those that are "christian", that work for the news media. I, as a spiritual being and as a CHRISTian hereby call you out. You are spreading lies, fear, paranoia and confusion, and are in violation of the Universal law of FREE WILL. YOU ARE FOLLOWING DARKNESS. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT PLAY SPIRITUAL OR ENLIGHTENED BEINGS; THERE REALLY IS A GOD! THERE REALLY IS A GODDESS! AND THEY DON'T HAVE OUR ISSUES! THEY DON'T HATE ANY OF US. FEAR IS NOT OF GOD-DESS. I hereby accuse you of fear-mongering and submit to the American public that it is news media programs such as CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, Robin and Co. and Good Morning America that are the real terrorists. For if the day is sunny they will tell us to ignore it and fear next week. If the road is clear in Maine they will show us traffic in Los Angeles. If you stubbed your toe last year they will say it's because of a new study that shows if women don't have babies, and give up their lives, and teach their daughters to do the same, more and more men will suffer from Stubbed Non-Pregnancy Toe Syndrome! But look at the bright side, Brangelina has been the first people to do good works in Africa...

I think the most remarkable thing is that millions and millions of women get convinced that it is their duty to give up their lives to have babies, like it's actually some blessed event. Look, it's not a miracle, it's a biological function, a choice. If it were a miracle you couldn't stop it. Your choice would be irrelevant, and you would have a NATURAL program for it to happen. There is no biological clock, it's just a saying that was made up by men in order to keep women in a helpless state. Or don't you think it's strange that men don't have a biological clock? No, sweetie, we don't. Ours is a clock without the "l", and the only miracle about it is that you women are stupid enough to allow us to knock you up and be convinced that if you don't you're being "selfish". SELFISH TO WHOM??? Your mother? Tell her to go get screwed if she wants a baby. Ew! Ew! Ew! To the mothers that say to their children I want grandkids (so why don't you go and have sex so I can pretend it's me again, that way you'll be just as miserable, and you will tell your daughter and she will tell hers, and so on and so on) because you know they said in the NEWS that women who don't have babies could get sick (and yes, this was actually said, CNN). So screw it up sister, join the league of pain. Can you believe it was actually said that if women don't have babies they are more prone to cervical cancer? On the news?!? Outrageous. So if our government is serious about its fight on terrorism, then it should be against the law for the media to:

1.) show dead people on television

2.) promote fear in health

3.) racially profile for impact, example; describe someone as black, white, hispanic, asian

4.) lie

5.) Lie

6.) LIE

NO MORE LIES!!!

Rant of the Week

Greetings. There are many schools of thought on magic and mysticism. All of them are geared towards manifestation in one way or another. There are schools that bend towards the fantastic such as actually believing that you could shoot physical flames from your hand while still existing in a third-dimensional reality. And those that believe that bouncing up and down on your behind on a mattress or mat is actually a form of levitation... There are also those schools of mysticism that portend that we co-create with God or Goddess and thus vaunt ourselves to the majestic throne of demigod-ism. All of these schools of thought, while creative and inspiring, lack simple principals; foundation, practicality and reality.

We as human beings live in a third-dimensional reality and therefore, while being able to project thought-forms in the pattern of the elements, would fall victim to actual fire making prolonged contact with our flesh. If your energy field is strong enough, you may be able to withstand, momentarily, contact with fire or lightening, but truthfully, just like anything else, eventually burn!

Levitation is a process of meditation, focus and lift. Lift being the key word, not bounce. This bouncing force only serves to illustrate the ungrounded, deceptive marketing of mediocrity. Again, third-dimensional reality does dictate that what goes up within a certain gravitational structure must come down. However, levitation does not break this rule, it merely bends it. One also should consider that it is indeed possible to attach one's energy to an alternate position within the gravity well and therefore lift oneself to that position. I welcome questions about this. All in all, levitation is to levitate, not bounce.

Finally and simply, God and Goddess are Goddess and God. They are real, not a concept. Not a bumper sticker or cool slogan. They don't have our issues and don't need our help in creating anything. However, they do frequently give us the opportunity to co-operate.

If we have offended anyone, it is important to know that it was not our intention, but we do not apologize. Mysticism, spirituality and magic are magnificent and real. They are also practical. So if you strive to move mountains with your mind but you can't keep a job, or think that marijuana gave you a mystical experience and landed you in rehab, we think you should re-examine your stand...

That's our rant.

Peace.

Using Video Games as Tools for Spiritual Development

This is the first part in a series about using video games as tools for spiritual development and evolution. Sound far fetched? Anything can be a tool if used properly. Playing video games is one of the best ways to overcome fears, to practice reaction-and-response and to hone strategy skills.

Consider, for a moment, the act of playing a video game. When you are playing a video game, to some effect you are within the game. To a certain degree, you become that character. To a certain degree, you exist in the world that you are playing in. Even on a purely physical level you react to the game in a very real way. When the scenery is tranquil and the music peaceful you too feel at peace. When the monster appears and you equip your weapon, your heart-rate speeds up as you prepare for battle. When navigating a particularly dangerous area you may begin to feel anxious at the prospect of falling. No, this does not mean that if your character dies you are doomed to die soon as well. It merely means that you are immersing yourself in the game experience, and if you are able to do that (and we all are) you can use that experience as a tool for manifestation and growth. This is one way to apply a mystical principal.

Overcoming Fears

Games allow you to see your fears and conquer them. What better way to conquer a fear than to immerse yourself in it? And what better way to immerse yourself with no risk of physical harm than playing a video game? You're afraid of the crazy house? Get yourself out of the crazy house by playing The Suffering: Ties that Bind. Nightmares? Get yourself out of the nightmare with Fatal Frame. Play games that allow you to work through and defeat something that scares you. If you are afraid of viruses play a disease-defeating game like Resident Evil: Outbreak or Half Life 2. Afraid of car accidents? Play a destructive car-crashing game like Twisted Metal: Black or Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition (where you're supposed to smash into other cars!). Scared of the "things that go bump in the night"? Get over it by playing a particularly freaky game like Silent Hill, F.E.A.R. or Call of Cthulhu. Recondition your head. Change your mind. Force yourself to face your fear by playing a game that represents what scares you and defeat it in your own head.

Improving Reaction-and-Response

Playing video games is an ideal exercise in reaction and response. They keep your mind sharp. In video games you are often required to think on your feet. Many times you are called upon to make quick "life-or-death" decisions. This can be in the form of defeating an enemy before it defeats you, solving a puzzle before the time runs out, or merely getting from point A to point B before something happens and ends your play. Playing a game until you are really good at it and playing it to completion improves your reaction-and-response times. You will begin to find in other areas of your life that you are able to make decisions quicker, and react faster to various things.

Developing Strategy

Playing video games can help develop your strategy in life because we play how we think. Don't believe it? Have someone watch you as you play and ask them if they notice any similarities between your game play and how you act and react in every day life. Does your character keep getting killed in the exact same place? Perhaps you are too reckless, in which case, you need to develop some stealth. Do you keep missing the objects/gold/clues that you are supposed to be collecting? You could probably stand to pay better attention to your surroundings. Or maybe you panic when the monster comes and aren't able to fight well? You probably have a tendency to panic when the unexpected happens in real life, in which case you need to learn to calm your head and think more clearly.

Video games are for everyone. Regardless of how you feel about them, they are excellent tools for development. If you don't consider yourself video game player, or you never thought you would enjoy playing, it is highly recommended that you at least borrow a gaming system and rent an appropriate game from your local video store and try it out for yourself. Learn to play your particular game well and play it to its completion. Keep in mind that you are playing it for a reason. You will see a difference in the rest of your life.

Introduction to the 5 Minds

Now that you have been introduced to the bodies (see the "Introduction to the 5 Bodies" post) it is time to be introduced to your minds. The five bodies correspond to five minds, and function uniquely and simultaneously. It has been said that we as human beings only use fifteen percent of our brains, but this also is a scientific faux pas. A theory has been introduced and quoted, in regards to something as simple as a candy bar, that the whole is greater than the sum total of its parts. But you need the parts in order for the whole to be, therefore, we can conclude that the brain is being used in its entirety in order for it to function correctly at all. Likewise you need five minds to run five bodies. These bodies areÃïÂ

The Conscious Mind

The conscious mind is the slowest of all your minds. It is the one that runs your physical body. Unfortunately, science has done little justice to this remarkable tool, as it is a mistake to think that the brain and the conscious mind are not the same. Understanding that the first body is physical, it should be elementary that a physical mind would be needed to run it. As the world we live in is physical, all things within it have a physical representation. The conscious mind, or brain, is designed to receive, process, repeat, and remember information. This particular mind, other than to run the physical, instinctual and automatic functions of the body, for all intent and purpose, has no other function. It is merely the puppet master to the bio-mechanical suit that houses your spirit and soul.

The Sub Conscious Mind

The sub conscious mind is perhaps the most misunderstood mind of all, as it has been mistaken for eons with another mind (that we will discuss later). The subconscious, or thinking mind, contrary to popular belief, is the mind that is responsible for perception, understanding, comprehension and concentration. Long has it been said that the sub conscious mind can only discern colors, symbols, sounds and feelings. This is incorrect. The subconscious mind should actually be referred to as the upper learning center of the brain. In other words, the subconscious mind interprets what is unseen and unspoken, to that which can only comprehend what is seen and spoken (the conscious mind).

The Sub-sub Conscious Mind

The sub-subconscious mind is never really mentioned in science, or even psychological journals, as little to nothing is known about it in conventional medicine. This magnificent tool is the one that is responsible for Ãïïsuper humanÃïï acts, or seemingly miraculous mental feats of psychic phenomenon. It could literally be referred to as the psychic mind. Now, technically speaking, since the whole of our planet operates within an electrically charged current that pervades everyone and everything, we as human beings would need the ability to, not only transform this electrical current, but to assimilate and use this current as a power source to run our bio-mechanical machine (physical body). Furthermore, we would need, again, a translator to interpret that which has only color, sound, vibration and formless energy to the upper learning center of the bio-mech at controlled intervals, so to avoid a massive overload and breakdown of both upper and lower biomechanical function. It is this that the sub-sub conscious is responsible for. It is also this mind that has been mistaken by doctor and psychotherapist alike for the subconscious mind.

Metaphysically speaking, the sub-sub conscious, being in tuned with the vibrational frequency of the earth, can deliver timely messages to us at any given moment. What we think is psychic phenomenon is merely the attempt of the sub-sub conscious to upgrade our system in order to help us receive more of the information that is due to us as evolving beings. A bonus is when we are mentally available, the sub-sub conscious can not only deliver messages of the future or past, but hyper-charge the bio-mechanical suit, enabling it to perform great feats of physical strength, speed and agility. For instance, a person is about to step off of a curb onto the street and instantly leaps back with speed not usually at their disposal, avoiding a speeding car. Or a mother that, upon seeing her child in danger, obtains the physical strength of ten, and as soon as the crisis is over returns to her normal state, yet not knowing how she could possibly have lifted a truck by herself. That is one prime example of how the sub-sub conscious mind works. It would seem that this mind is the interpreter of the cosmos, reminding us that we are more than we seem. All in all, you could say that this mind is the bridge between God, and man.

The sub Supra Conscious Mind

It has been said that there are those that have waited their whole lives for just one moment of revelation, and upon receiving this have been changed for everÃïÂ

Thus is the semi-divine nature of the sub-supra conscious mind. This mind can be effectively named our own personal harbinger of change, for each time that it filters its powerful messages to us there is ineffably a complete change, not only in our mentality, but in our physicality as well. These rays of cosmic energy may last for only seconds but the effect can last for years depending upon ones reaction and response to them. It is this mind that makes us aware that there is more to life than what we are, and calls us to reach through the clouds of normality in response to something seemingly holy, and like the mythological siren beckons us to find it if we can. Each time this mind flashes something is created; a song, a book, a painting, or even a new life. It is the prophecy of ourselves in the future, now complete with the energy to become that which we have seen. Would that we could only tap consciously into this resource, there would be no war, famine, hate or sickness, for all one would have to do is to see, and be. Fortunately, we are given this very chance from time to time by the very mechanism that is the sub-supra conscious, and that in and of itself is a revelation.

The Supra Conscious Mind

The supra conscious mind is the totality of all of your minds. It is the whole that is a living part of the great mind. It is that which has been called God- or Goddess-consciousness, and rightly so. It is where every inspiration, every motivation and inclination that has been shot like cosmic arrows from the divine bow of the universe is from. It is constant, untiring, and ever vigilant in its effort to help us to guide us to ourselves, in hope that we would be interested in knowing who we are, why we are, and what we are doing. This mind is the very wellspring that all knowledge comes from and will return to; it is your highest mind. That being said, it is important to understand that the supra conscious mind is not separate from you, but, like all of the other minds is you, and works simultaneously, directly and indirectly to bring you to your optimal state of being. It is the mental heaven to our mental earth, yet one does not exist without the other. The supra conscious mind is, for lack of a better word, Holy.

All five of the minds that have been introduced work dependently and simultaneously. There is no real way to separate them, as you will find the presence of one in all, and all in one. Suffice it to say that before one studies magic, one should know that the ability even to think is magic.

Introduction to the 5 Bodies

What is Magic? This question has puzzled both student and teacher for ages, and will continue to do so for ages to come, as it can never quite be answered entirely. Not only is it the ability to manifest, un-manifest and manipulate, but it is also the ability to understand that which is unseen, and by some creative means, bring into a state of tangibility--if only for moments--that which was not there. In other words, the practice of ÃïïmagicÃïï is the practice of making one's faith DO somethingÃïÂ

In these articles I will attempt to clarify, illumine, and justify this practice, as well as dispel many of the myths surrounding this honorable and peaceful art form.

In other words, class is in sessionÃïÂ

The Bodies

Let us begin with the bodies, as it is with these we humans have a remarkable fascination with. The body that you were given to live in is merely a tool, much like a car or truck, it gets you from point 'a' to point 'b'.

Most of us have been taught that this is the only body that we have, and that there is nothing that we can do about it. But I say thee, nay. There are four more to go along with that one. You actually have five "bodies" that live simultaneously and function perfectly on both a conscious and unconscious level. Each exists on a different plane, or dimension as you will, but they are all you. These bodies are:

The Physical Body

The physical body; a perfect bio-mechanical unit comprised of carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, and a combination of minerals that are hyper charged by a group of elements (which we will cover later) to cause a combination of reactions, responses, and dynamics which enable you to move, breathe, and function on a normal day to day basis. In essence, even your physical body is a living example of alchemical and mystical manipulation, manifestation, and animation. In other words, ÃïïmagicÃïï. Even if we were to compare the physical body to the zymology of magic we would find a strange coincidence. Leonardo Da Vinci depicted a man in a five pointed stance which, even scientifically, matches the pentacle, or five pointed Star. Each extremity representing a body, element, sense, and dimension, culminating into one being.

The Astral Body

The second body that you have is called the ÃïïastralÃïï body. This body actually fits over your physical body much like a glove, encasing and even protecting your physical body. It is this body that you can learn a great deal from, but at the same time learn to protect, as it has a tendency to leave sometimes, unconsciously, the physical body, in the event of trauma or stress. The astral body exists on a corresponding dimension, or astral realm that, although lacking physical tangibility, is every bit as real as the physical dimension. There is color, shape, depth, and even texture to this realm. It is where one is more than likely to have an encounter with beings that are without a physical body, or even beings from other kingdoms, (elementals, changelings, etc.). Many have tried with some success to harness the ability to enter into this realm for short periods of time in order to find answers, or seek guidance from one or more of the vast amounts of residents that live there, for the purpose of spiritual or personal development. Unfortunately, what the average novice or practitioner does not know, or even thinks about, is the nature of the astral realm. It is seductive, unstable, chaotic, and, like nitro glycerin can explode in one's face. For those that wish to delve onto the astral ocean, it is advisable to take into consideration These points:

1. There are many beings that live there that have no body, and know that they need a body in order to complete their Evolutionary process.

2. Because of the lack of physical limitation, these same beings can assume any shape that they please, even if only temporarily.

3. Because of the lack of mental barriers in the astral realm, your thoughts are like beacons of light to these inhabitants, as are your fantasies, so it might be dangerous to assume that you are speaking with whom you think you are speaking.

4. The seductive nature of the astral realm can lead one into an almost obsessive state, causing one to want to be overly comfortable with the astral, and unbalanced in the physical, resulting in a sort of neurosis, much like the heroin or opium addict. Not to mention the fixation on certain beings that emulate or copy someone that the practitioner has taken a fancy to in the physical realm, causing them to believe that there is a relationship between the practitioner and the physical being (which has been the case in many stalking cases). The practitioner loses his/her grip on the tangible, is at the mercy of fantasy, and can be ultimately lost to their own desire.

5. In order to visit the astral realm one has to use massive amounts of energy to stay. Although it appears that one is merely resting, the astral body is draining itself, and will begin to drain energy from the physical body (burning the furniture in order to keep the train running). This causes a parasitic dynamic between the astral body, and the physical body, and if the practitioner fails to Ãïïget a gripÃïï, then the physical body becomes weaker, and weaker. Signs of physical degeneration may be barely noticeable to the observer at first, but then as time marches on drastic physical changes will make themselves apparent. For those practitioners that do tangle with the astral web, here are some signs that the water has become too deep for you:

a. rapid loss of muscle mass and drop in body heat

b. rapid weight gain and lethargy accompanied by depression

c. abandonment of physical awareness and deceitfulness, accompanied by severe mood swings, and the complete loss of common sense.

If this sounds familiar stay out of the astral realm. These points being considered, the benefit of this realm are great. You can detect malady or sickness long before it registers on your physical body, which can afford you time to counteract the malady Ãïïastrally" and avoiding it altogether. First you are going to have to use something that is of the astral realm, while staying conscious. For lack of a better term, let us call this the imagination. One has to understand this gift in order to use it, as it could very well be said that the astral body is the very fuel of the dream machine. That being said, we will move on until such a time that we can address the Ãïïhow toÃïï aspect of using the astral realm safely.

The Ethereal Body

The Ethereal body is that which joins us all in a network of light, much like a spider's web, and has been called by Ãïïairy fairy-ists" the aura, Ãïïthe white lightÃïï, or the ÃïïhaloÃïï. In truth it is merely the vibrational frequency field that each individual has that distinguishes one being from another. A signature, if you will, that emanates out from the body as rays of light emanate from the sun. Each person has a different color and pattern. Each has a sound and solidity, based upon the personality of the individual. As was stated earlier we are still connected by what would appear, to those who could see, white bands of light that seem to go from one person to anther, and then connect to the very earth, moving endlessly between mother and child, husband and wife, friend and foe alike. We as human beings thrive on the ethereal field of the earth, because she is not only our home, but also our source of food, shelter and make-up. Without the earth we would not exist, as the material that we are created from comes from ÃïïherÃïï, and goes back once we leave our physical form. Literally, we are one with the earth, and with one another. When Jesus said when a man commits and act in his heart, it is as sure as committing it physically, he of course was speaking the truth, as we are ethereally joined.

The Spirit Body

The spirit body is, along with the soul, the most mystifying aspect and body. The spirit is the living principal force of life, and is indomitable. Contrary to a popular belief the spirit cannot be harmed by anyone or anything. It is that part of you that is totally and completely beyond vulnerability. So to say that something hurt your spirit, or your spirit is suffering is absolutely incorrect. You must understand that nothing, absolutely nothing, can harm your spirit. Not even YOU.

The Soul Body

The soul body is that which completes us as living beings. It is the force behind, and in front, of everything that we are, have been, and will ever be. It is the highest vibration of all bodies, and totally unfathomable (as is the spirit). It is the part of us that is music, art, love, dance, feeling and knowing, and that which gives breath to us all. This body, along with our spirit body, cannot be touched by you or anyone else, as the Universe in their grand wisdom knew that if we could touch our souls weÃïïd only try to find a way to dominate it in ourselves and others (Universal fail-safe, you might call it). Thus our task is clear; if we as growing beings want to become more in tuned so as to be able to see our spirit or soul bodies, then we will evolve. So until the time that we can perceive clearly these bodies, let it suffice to say your spirit and soul bodies are doing what they are supposed to do, and are the highest part of yourselves, hoping beyond hope that you will be interested enough to find out exactly what youÃïïre made of.

In essence we are much more that we have been led to think that we are, and are the very children of a force that has been around longer than even the most ancient among us could remember. The cloth, and thread that the God-dess created all things from is MagicÃïÂ

The Ass Bus Awards - Introduction

A woman came in to our store one day for a reading, and she had a tattoo on her arm of some Arabic writing. Zakhuur commented on the design and asked what it meant. "About that..." she said, and proceeded to tell him the story of her mark.

One day she decided, as so many young women do nowadays, that she wanted to get a tattoo. So she visited her local tattoo parlor and looked through the designs they had to offer. Not knowing from the outset exactly what she wanted, she spotted the pretty Arabic symbols amongst the various "tribal" designs and Chinese characters, and asked what it was. "It means Desert Rose" she was told. Thinking she would be cute, and perhaps a little "exotic"--and most certainly unique--she decided that design was what she wanted permanently etched into her skin, and got the ink done. Delighted with the result, she went forth into the world to flaunt her new uniqueness.

Awhile later (perhaps weeks, perhaps months, no one is completely sure) she found herself in the presence of someone with an interest in her tattoo (after all, isn't that the real purpose for getting one?). He gestured toward it with a look of confusion and asked, "Why do you have that on your arm?". "It's Arabic" she responded, smiling. "And it means Desert Rose".

"I'm Arabic" the man replied. "And that right there says Ass Bus".

_________________________________

In the spirit of the woman in this story, and many others like her all over the world, we present to you the Ass Bus Awards.

The Ass Bus Awards are to honor those in society who, in their feeble attempts to be different (different just like everyone else), find themselves caught in the stupidity of their own uninformed decisions.

Many want the extra attention associated with being a little different or rebellious, but don't have the courage to go full-out and be truly unique. So they follow the crowd and do what they think is safe. Most often they just wind up looking dumb.

Stay tuned for more Ass Bus Awards in the future as we compile more real-life accounts!

_________________________________

Do you have a story of someone that you believe is deserving of an Ass Bus Award? Please let us know. If we deem it appropriate, we will reprint it in these pages.

Until then; don't be stupid.

Myths About Exorcisms: Part 1

Due to the growing popularity of information relating to haunted houses and "ghost hunting" there are a lot of myths and misconceptions revolving around house exorcisms and who is able to render these services. The following is an effort to correct some of these misconceptions and offer some real information about who is qualified to clean your home of negative entities.

Myth#1: Catholic clergy are the best qualified to perform
exorcisms.

For starters, it is usually extremely difficult to find anyone in the church to take your problem seriously, never mind finding anyone who is actually "qualified" to deal with the problem. Most churches don't even consider house/property haunting as something legitimate. Those that
do may be able to deal with general haunting or some psychic disturbance but cannot handle more dangerous situations such as phantoms.

Myth#2: If I am being harassed by dark entities in my home,
I should call a psychic into my house*.

This may or may not work, depending on the level and ability of the psychic and their particular Universal station. Many people do not truly understand the meaning of "psychic". Everyone is psychic to some degree. Most people who advertise themselves as "psychics" are simply more sensitive to psychic/metaphysical phenomena than others. But just because a person is sensitive (can see, hear or even "channel" ghosts, senses presences or can see into the past/future) it does not necessarily mean that they are equipped to deal with banishing spirits. An exorcist is a specific kind of being who has been given special gifts by the Universe, (and has trained extensively) enabling them to command spirits to do their bidding. That is their Universal station. Much like a deaf person could not be an effective opera singer, a person--psychic or not--who lacks the specific "equipment" (as well as extensive training) cannot be an effective exorcist.

*A special note about inviting people into your home: You absolutely MUST be sure that the person/s you invite into your home have your best intentions in mind! Inviting someone into your home who has a private agenda, who wishes you ill-will, or who just doesn't take what they're doing completely seriously (or who really doesn't know what they are doing!) can actually cause the reverse of what you want to happen--their very energy can wreak havoc in a space that is already in turmoil and can even create a dangerous situation.

Myth#3: If I am being harassed by dark entities in my home
I should get in contact with a "ghost hunter".

Due to the popularity of all things paranormal, "ghost hunting" has become a fad. Ghost Hunters and shows/groups like it are capitalizing on this fad. These shows are gimmicks. No ghost is stupid enough to pose on national TV. Nor are they stupid enough to stick around and reveal themselves to someone with a camera, just because that person likes to call themself a paranormal investigator. Entities whose intent it is to cause harm will remain hidden, regardless of whatever fancy, expensive "paranormal equipment" may be brought in to try to find them. These groups cause more harm than good. All their attempts at documentation really does is create a disturbance. The presence of such people in an already tumultuous environment will only add to the turmoil and can cause a negative situation to become downright dangerous (see Myth #2).

The only true paranormal equipment is in the mind, body and spirit. People who belong to these "ghost hunting" groups rely on physical investigative equipment and are not spiritually equipped to handle true paranormal investigation and exorcism--no matter how much "training" or experience they've had documenting paranormal phenomena. Mere interest in the paranormal does not qualify one to be
a true paranormal investigator . Because of their perceived knowledge--based on "documented research" and a bunch of airy-fairy opinions of so-called psychics and "sensitives"--they often give explanations for certain paranormal phenomena that is far from the truth, and people
who are looking for help riding their home of a negative influence do not get the help they need. Victims of psychic attack end up being placated by fluffy, false explanations and are forced to continue living with energies that are actually causing them harm.

"Ghost Hunters" and other shows and groups like it are merely sensationalizing things of a paranormal nature. They cause more harm than good. People who need help don't get any. To shows like "Ghost Hunter" from Zakhuur personally, "You're full of shit. If it were up to me, you would all be unplugged".

Myth#4: Anyone can perform an exorcism if they have read up
on how to do it first. I can exorcise my own home!

NOT TRUE! This way of thinking can be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. There are many publications out there nowadays claiming to be able to teach the average interested person how to perform exorcisms and house blessings (again, based on the sensationalism of all things paranormal). There are many people out there who think that just because they have a little sensitivity and maybe know a couple of things that it makes them qualified and able to learn about and perform exorcisms. This could not be farther from the truth! As we have already stated above, it takes a special type of person to be able to perform exorcisms. Interest and psychic ability are simply not enough! Even being endowed with these gifts does not necessarily make a person qualified to perform an exorcism. Someone who is young and inexperienced, though they may be extremely talented and possess all the necessary gifts, can often create a dangerous situation if they have 1) not been properly trained, 2) are undisciplined and subject to emotionalism (their own or the emotions of others) or 3) just plain
don't have the proper experience and tutelage. Someone who is able to effectively undertake such a task by themselves must have years of experience (generally under an older, well-seasoned "exorcist") and a very high level of discipline. No matter what anyone tells you, there is no way that a person in their teens or 20s has the life experience or discipline to effectively perform an exorcism by themselves.

Important things to keep in mind:

A person who is truly qualified to perform effective exorcisms is a servant of the Universe. This means that they do the work because that is what they have been charged to do; that is their job, their purpose. Most do not even consider themselves "exorcists" per se, but more like police or officers. They are, in fact, Psychic Policemen, charged with the job of removing "criminals" (evil spirits, dark entities, psychic nuisances etc.) from your home. The very presence of such a person causes a
reaction in an infested area, as the negative entities scatter or hide, trying to make it seem as though nothing were happening. Irregardless, that person is still able to see and remove those entities, and prevent them from coming back. Many psychic police will bring with them a team of
investigators/trainees to assist them as well.

The true exorcist, or Psychic Policeman, is not interested in social interaction or fame. They are there to do a job--not hang out and chat, not stay for dinner, not become your best friend. They are very professional about their job. They will consult with you and answer any and all questions before the exorcism/cleaning. They will involve you in the process and teach you how to keep your home/property clean. They will follow up after the session is done to make sure you are doing everything correctly and will be available for any additional questions or concerns you may have. They will only need to clean the area once for it to be completely clean. This is very important. Anyone who tells you they will have to come back two or three or more times is not effective and should be avoided. It only takes one time for a true exorcist to clean a space. After that, it is up to the custodian of the home to maintain the sanctity of the space and not invite any negativity back in.

Last, but not least, the Psychic Policeman does not do what they do for personal profit or gain. I cannot stress this enough. There are many people out there claiming to be exorcists who charge hundreds, thousands--even tens of thousands!--of dollars for their service. A true Universal servant does not charge a set fee! If someone claims that
it will cost you $35,000 to clean your house (or even $500!) run like the wind and never look back. Those who are true Psychic Policemen know that they are performing a needed service and are doing what the Universe has charged them to do. The financially disadvantaged need these services just as much as those who are financially stable or affluent , and lack of money should not hinder them from receiving help! It is perfectly reasonable to compensate for the (actual) transportation costs of the person you are employing and then give a donation for their services. Even stating a suggested donation is completely acceptable
(remember, a servant has to survive on what they receive for their services!) but if they are demanding a set amount of money they should be avoided. If there is no suggested donation amount, you give what you believe the service is worth to you, or what you are able to give. Keep in mind that you have been provided a service that you could not have completed yourself!

In closing, be careful about who you invite into your home. Toying with negative entities is like playing with fire--if not handled correctly you can get seriously hurt. A serious and well-equipped exorcist will be able to answer all your questions truthfully. They will be completely professional. They will probably have people working for/with them or
apprenticing them. They will be older, disciplined. They will be able to offer you references to others whom they have helped. They will involve you in the process and teach you how to maintain the sanctity of your home after the service has been given. They will only need to clean the area once for it to be completely clean. These people are out there--you just may need to look a little deeper to find them!
